Is there anything heavier? I'm starting to lose hope that there is.

Personally, I like his solo stuff more. Voyager 1 is probably my favorite album, followed closely by Corduroy Road and Apollo 11. The contrast between the these really shows how versatile of a musician he is.

Great album. Saltwater room is my favorite, best line is
      >so tell me darlin do you wish we'd fall in love?
      >when you and I are alone, why does it feel so at home?
      >when we're apart, whatever are you thinking of?

Sky Sailing is another good project by him

How was I unaware of this album? Thanks anon. His Port Blue stuff is stellar as well.

He hit his fucking head or something because all he writes now are long corny songs about events from his life, like the day he was born or his first job at a grocery store (both real songs)
He used to be so poetic and played heavily with imagery, now he's trying to be some story song master. Sometimes its fun but some of it is godawful.

"I'd rather waltz than just walk through the forest
The trees keep the tempo and they sway in time
Quartet of crickets chime in for the chorus
If I were to pluck on your heartstrings would you strum on mine?

    I've been longing for
Daisies to push through the floor
I've never really felt like this before
And I wish plant life would grow all around me
So I won't feel dead anymore
So I won't feel dead anymore"

what happened to that? That's good shit.

Yes. The UV EP was like him saying "look, I can still do it but I'm not going to." Then just making whatever the hell it is he's making now.

his most recent album was so boring and generic sounding, max 2 songs were good, and only a short part of one of those good songs:

          ?t=135
Umbrella Beach completely destroys and clears this shitty ass album entirely

Owl City anon are you there? You sent me this track featuring Mark Hoppus from blink-182, because I mentioned I loved them, well I love this track. Thank you where ever you are https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6QqzWg3IEg

      You're welcome.
I loved it because I've always found Adam Young to be DeLonge-ish, especially in his AVA days. Hoppus and Young just works.

Yes dude! That's literally what stood out to me and made me love it. Also Mark's verse is really cool. Great rec, thanks.

This album really hurts my soul with its positive message. It sees the future so bright.
Yet, 14 years later, we are worse than before.

Saltwater Room is my lullaby song. Owl City is really slept on, the guy might be saccharine to the point of toothache but he knows how to write easygoing pop songs besides those two ones that were overplayed in the early 2010s
