Is there anything dumber than a grocery paper bag?

>brittle
>clumsy
>rigid geomety
>easily tearable
>produced in an incredibly resource intensive and polluting manner
>unreusable because they break very easily
Who were the retards who thought this was a great idea? I see no benefit for using this piece of trash

Recycled paper is so polluted with MOSH and MOAH that it is banned in all of Europe for direct food contact and it needs a protective plastic liner or film for those sorts of applications. If you see a chocolate box with a plastic tray and a plastic film, it is because the pulp is so polluted that it is banned to be in contact with the chocolate

The average person doesn't reuse or recycle plastic shopping bags. We have more trees and too much plastic waste now, so I don't see the issue. Plus paper bags are more profitably recycled than plastic bags.

The volume for plastic bags is so fucking enormous that it would be easy as fuck to recycle them. Polyethylene is one of the easiest materials to recycle on earth (even LDPE) you just need to melt it and repelletize it. Just ban nagger companies to print on the plastic bag and problem solved

Try to get 1 supplier of any sort of recycled pulp or paper that can guarantee you no migration of Mosh or Moah without a functional barrier (paraffin wax or some sort of polyester film). Idk why I bother talking with retards. If you know how paper and cardboard is recycled you wouldn't be surprised in the slightest on how polluted it can be.

there is one good thing about paper bags. They stand up on their own so you can make a trash bin with just a paper bag.

They're much more breathable when I put them over your mom's head when we're trying to make you a little brother.

I've been buying plastic garbage bags to line my wastebasket with ever since single-use plastic was banned in my city. Now I throw away the paper bag, the garbage bag, and the box my garbage bag came in.

My family uses plastic bags as garbage bags for the smaller trash cans we have. Do most people not do this?

Even if you reuse them it makes no difference, it's still generating trash that doesn't degrade. And it's barely even useful just a mild convenience at most
        Not worth it

I've done that before; now that my state banned plastic shopping bags and you can only get them at a few places, I take all "stretchy" plastic film to a store dropoff.

I use it for that, picking up dog poop, to sit on the counter while peeling vegetables or trimming meat, etc.. There's a million different ways to reuse them, but plastic is still terrible. I wouldn't die if I was forced to resort to making my own or using fabric reusables.

Information technology is more dependent on cobalt, lithium, and silicon than plastic. IT is no more 'dependent' on plastic than food containers, and that's cause of cost-cutting manufacturing.

They keep their shape well making them easier to pack, less likely to tear if filled with objects of irregular sizes, and easier to pick up and put down repeatedly.

They really really suck when it's raining though.

I reuse polyethylene bags because the paper ones suck donkey dick and are barely reusable as they just break so easily. Idk who was the nagger who thought bringing this outdated technology back was a good idea.

All garbage can be burned and disposed as harmless CO2, water vapor and nitrogen and all remaining solids a mix of salts and ceramic materials
