not really, no
some nbphobic bisexuals will insist that the bi means both genders (it does not - it means both hetero and homosexual)
some pansexuals will insist that being pan means attraction regardless of gender (instead of being attracted to all genders). this distinction is of little practical use and also often inaccurate.
a lot of people explicitly use "bi/pan" to cover both, but either is also fine. anyone who raises a stink about it is a moron and should be ignored.
The way I see the two typically used, people who identify as bi have strong preferences (eg. Bi guy only dates other guys but also fucks women they find hot), and people who identify as pan are just into people for who they are/if they find them hot without serious preference either way.
I call myself either, sometimes I just say pan because it sets off the morons plugged into discourse who somehow think it's transphobic, then I understand who not to talk to lol
not really
I've always thought of it personally as like
bi means you're attracted to each sex for different reasons, while pan means for the same - usually for personality or like arms or some shit.
IE bis might not like enbys, femboys or tomboys but pans will? idk that's how I've understood it
I understood it as bi is cis only and pan is cis and trans attraction
I am bi but I'm attracted to each sex for the same reason if they bend over for me
>I understood it as bi is cis only and pan is cis and trans attraction
Nah not necessarily. Like if someone fucks cis men, cis women, trans women, but not trans men. That would be bi but not pan.
Pansexual is just a new word for the same thing that's always been around that got hyped up by a bunch of tumblr and tumblr-adjacent people trying to label and categorize more accurately every possible flavor of sexuality.
Just a bunch of shit like "ackshually there aren't just two genders so bisexual should be pansexual, unless you're only attracted to two genders like men and transmasc enbies then ur real bisexual or if you like 3 genders but not all then ur omnisexual etc etc"
Too many rules trying to categorize too specifically
It'd be like if they tried to do away with heterosexual and homosexual for something else since technically it's usually referring to gendered attraction and not strictly sexes. That one woulda been too broad
I consider myself a polysexual because I like more than 2 sorts of sexual expressions but not all of them.
I like cis men, trans men and trans women, but not cis women. I like futas and anime girls, but not real cis women. I like submissive, cute cis men but like big, muscular, dominant mommy futas.
The way I had it described to me that finally made it make sense was Pansexuals have attraction regardless of gender. I’m Bisexual, and it’s kind of hard to explain with words, but my attraction feels different between women and men. It’s not that I’m more attracted to one gender, but more like it feels different when I’m attracted to guy rather than a girl. For example if I was attracted to a person who I was under the impression was female who I later found out was male, I would essentially have to recalculate, and rebuild my attraction to them. Apparently Pansexuals feel the same type of attraction to everyone they find attractive regardless of gender. Or maybe they’re all bullshitting and it’s a psyop to fuck over us Bisexuals, idk.
Pansexuals are either women who think it sounds edgier than bisexual.
Or horny teenage/college age boys who have a crush on a theyfab and are trying to impress them and simp for them by feeding into their delusions about not being a women all the time despite the only masculine thing about them ever being is hat they have short hair.
no
t. man
Yes, pansexuals don't exist
not really, no

bi means less plugged into internet gender discourse

pansexual seems like it would inlcude trannies and cuntboys and other abominations. I only have sex with cis men and cis women
oh that's easy you're just a bigot
>cope
because I dont want to have sex with trannies? seems like you are the bigot
>because I dont want to have sex with trannies?
uh no probably because you call them "abominations"
not lusting for srsussy is fine. calling tranners abominations is not.
Probably cos they are abominations. Cry about it.
Not really no, but I generally call myself pan to make sure I separate myself from losers like this .
>abominations
sorry anon. we call them "gender challenged" now
This is actually accurate. The difference between bi and pan is that bi only prefers cis people while pan covers all people including trans folk.

Yeah. I'm bi and I'm not in man with pussy. Only if they don't pass maybe
>into
Bis may or may not be into various trans/nb combos.
Pans explicitly are into it and/or don't consider it.
So pan is a type of bi.
No
Pansexuals are a special category of bisexuals who are more attention-seeking than the regular bisexuals.
just that our flag is prettier.

I see, I guess bi includes some kind of preference

Yeah, One likes boys and girls and the other fucks the pan even while they're cooking.
I consider myself a polysexual because I like more than 2 sorts of sexual expressions but not all of them.

Too specific to call it bi.
When in the flying fuck did bi become 'cis only'? This strikes me as a pannie psyop.

It's just a different word for bisexual.
If you need an IQ of 110 to understand your sexuality then it's not real
Pan is a PC way of saying I fuck trannies too without implying that they see you as your agab or best of both worlds
My understanding is that bi = men and women, pan = men, women, and enbies. In practice there's little difference however
