The G-Man from Half-Life. A seemingly immortal dimensional altering entity who is contracted by a certain set of "employers" and works in mysterious ways. Can put special people in stasis and use them to handle certain tasks. Hops between worlds. Can appear human, but isn't.
What's the plausibility that our world is being shaped by entities like these? Have you ever had an experience with one of these shadowy beings? Shapeshifters? Are they connected to religion?
The Nobody. Except he is worse. The bastard works alone. No agency. Just raw craftsmanship. Scary af.
Literally the concept of archons in gnosticism or watchers in scientology which are based on archons in gnosticism.
Usually figures hidden deep within government agencies.
The cancer man is one of them
Men in Black predate UFOs, some people claim it was people making charcoal in European forests and being covered in soot or whatever that gave rise to it. But the G Man and the eerie way he talks is 100% based on reports of the very odd "real" men in black stories that have them talking very strangley like the Gman does in the game as well as sometimes saying things that imply they're androids like running out of battery charge etc. Its either a very real disnfo campaign from back in the day with good actors and a weird premise or they're real and don't seem to exist comfortably in our reality
shout to my boy All-Colours Sam and the no-colours sams that make his people look bad
Um. The hat man? Or maybe a spiritually enlightened individual that's remembered what they are and hangs around to help people or do goblini activities
Hat Man, absolutely, is the G-man of this reality
Well he literally represents god. The combine are meant to be archons. And then Gordon Freeman is both Jesus and Lucifer. Basically it's some gnostic shit like every other piece of big media.
>"The orange box"
Yeah, the, gman's supposed to be a positive or like. At least anti-hero like entity? Technically he could help more, or supposedly has the power to, but his employers forbid this. Now that I think about it, from what I understand of gnosticism, gordon sounds more like adam ( and alyx eve, since she supposedly takes on the role gman had for gordon originally since he couldn't perform to his standards or whatever) and gman is the christos
God man is Jesus.
The “G” could be related to the Freemason symbol. I know it’s a worn out nootice but HL2 does have 33 achievements you can get
> Agent James worked for the Mishap Investigation Board.
> Government was working on some classified project, Agent James goes by Skipper, there are five other agents under the Skipper that where the program
> Government had some idea from Einstein that you could travel at the speed of darkness.
> They travel on the lay lines of aether using some sort theory Leonardo devinche had that Einstein got to work while in the US Navy

>Is there an entity like the G-Man in real life?
best pic ever
Resonance cascade and synchronicity may be related in some way. Like higher life forms competing to be on control on a converging timeline.
>Like higher life forms competing to be on control on a converging timeline.
or even just multiple governments
It's all but certain that this is happening.
Look at G-mans inspiration, the MiB.
The Men in black aren't goofy abd fun like im the movies, no they're quite unsettling...sometimes more than the Aliens and cryotids themselves...
Takes a special kind of person to deal with otherworldly entities and not collapse into madness.
Interesting theory. You ever watch the the Star Trek prequel "Enterprise" with Scott Bacula? That's sort of what I think is going on when we experience paranormal shit.
>Inb4 muh prison planet
