It wasn’t. Dressing like grandpa had its time, but that would have looked like his mother dressed him now and a decade ago.

Nobody ever accused Harry Potter of being fashionable. I doubt even he was trying to be. He is pretty down-to-earth in real life and probably just dressed in his regular clothes.

I’m 5’8" – just a couple inches under average – and finding clothes that fit is hell. I’m forced to buy online because most stores don’t stock S/XS sizes, which means I can’t try clothes on before spending money and am liable to get something too big and loose-fitting. So I look like shit regardless. I don’t know, I sometimes ask myself why I bother too.

Also, sleeves on long sleeve shirts and sweaters are ridiculously long. I can’t imagine how much worse things get when you’re even smaller.

are you a 100lb twink? I’m 3 inches shorter than you and I wear mediums in t-shirts and small at the lowest for OCBDs and stuff. 38S in suits.

Good point. I’m 5’8 and always between S and M in western sizes. Small is too small, medium is for tallfags
      >Model is 1.89m tall with a 79cm waist and wears M

okay this is true I find that a lot of times I have to size up to fit my shoulders, but everything is designed for fatasses so the shoulders will fit and then the belly will be really loose and it’ll be too long.
My vintage stuff fits me way better I suppose because it’s not made for a 21st century body type

I’m 5’7" and my girlfriend definitely appreciates when I put effort into my fashion choices, I can just tell. You are not solely defined by your size, if a stupid midget like me can get a girlfriend then anyone can

Yes, but you have to get everything tailored
The reason Japanese people look fly in their outfits is because the population is very homogeneous, allowing for the industry to come up with properly fitted clothing for the most people.

That’s just your average actor outside of movies. They prefer actors with bigger heads because it looks better on camera. Here is a picture of your dear Ryan Gosling who is over 6 feet tall.
A great outfit will always look good, just keep away from silly trends and wear clothes that fit you.

There is a point to fashion if you like fashion. If you don’t like it don’t do it.
    This is a hobby.

The problem with being tall and having a proportionate body is that fat short guys will ruin the fit of your clothes. Nowadays 50% of people are too fat. Maybe 10% of people are tall. So the larger sizes aren’t made for tall and fit bodies, they’re made for short and fat bodies.

It can help make up for your lack of height. Maybe not entirely a replacement for it but it’ll get you some points back at least.

    >big head and long neck making his frame appear even more narrow than it really is
    >badly fitting sweater
    >jeans that are visibly way too long
    >shoes that do not fit the outfit at all
Everything about it could have gone wrong has gone wrong
