yes, but the idea is to actually reach positive vibes and emanate them into your world. the act of visualization merely focuses the energy. i know it sounds a bit cheesy but it's working well in my favor.

Of course it doesn’t work. It should be obvious it’s a scam. The only people making any kind of success out of it are the ones who wrote the books, or sold the videos or courses or got click bait money. If it worked they wouldn’t be doing it.
The general here is further proof. They are nuts.

all men think about sex 24/7. are you visualizing a clear and realistic path to accomplishing it? i had the benefit of already having a clear path (an ex who I knew was still attracted to me). if you're a virgin and you're just thinking "please drop magic gf into lap" it's not going to work. possibly because every single other guy on the planet is thinking the same thing all the time, perhaps all the generalized, non-specific desires cancel each other out, or simply dissipate due to having no actual path to accomplishment.

It's actually not and represents a fundamental misunderstanding of LoA. Daydreaming and conscious desires aren't what manifests. It requires impression upon the subconscious, which I'm going to say no 11 year old knows how to effectively do.

          >impression upon the subconscious

Pretty much every form of western magic does this. Sigils, Ceremonial, LOA, etc..

            Anonymous

yeah but you're not explaining how it works, or more importantly how we can tell if it worked. sure, ritual use is to make it more believable that you're accomplishing something, but as you should know; "a tree that does not bear fruit is cast into the fire". so how can we tell if any kind of magic even works? because if you full-on believe in what you do, you'll forget even the results because you won't need them, but if you seek results then you won't believe in what you do because you need proof. what a vicious cycle

Read Feeling is the Secret, it's literally in the /LoA/ OP. It's completely your fault if you do not take the time to read and understand the teachings. And impressing the subconscious, like the other anon said, is spoke of multiple times there (and often is implied).

yeah but you're not explaining how it works, or more importantly how we can tell if it worked. sure, ritual use is to make it more believable that you're accomplishing something, but as you should know; "a tree that does not bear fruit is cast into the fire". so how can we tell if any kind of magic even works? because if you full-on believe in what you do, you'll forget even the results because you won't need them, but if you seek results then you won't believe in what you do because you need proof. what a vicious cycle

Well then test is for yourself and see. Do the ladder experiment.
You know that it works when you have/get the feeling of the wish fulfilled, the feeling of the desire being granted — that it is done.

Different anon, I work at a retail furniture store and we use ladders to get the things down from our storage shelves.

What would be a good thing to manifest instead? It has to be sort of uncommon otherwise it's not a good demonstration, yeah?

In the LoA thread, they usually go for a tennis ball, or a pink tennis ball to be extra sure (on the way you might see normal tennis balls, in which you ignore them and keep persisting until you get a pink one).

Another quick way is pic related from The Magic of Psychotronic Power. However, you might want to read the first parts of that book first to learn about the fundamentals of keeping a calm mind and such. The cloud melting part is pretty early on in the book as a beginner practice, so you won't have to read much.

          Anonymous

But by visualising a certain scenario for example, isn’t that already impressing the subconscious? Can you explain?

      Anonymous

There's more to it than that, but that's more or less how all forms of magical practice work, yes. You put an intent and expectation out into the universe, and that intent produces results. Everything else is just techniques to modulate your thoughtstyles into something more effective.

Before starting magic though, I'd start with therapy. There are less esoteric ways to stop self-sabotaging, and until you've gained enough self-awareness to address them it's going to be an uphill battle trying to make heads or tails of them, and one way or another you'll still have to cover all the same ground to get results. Might as well get a tutor and walk before you run before you attempt to fly.

It's not enough to focus on it or imagine having it. LoA method of magical actions works by basically convincing yourself you already have it until the universe gets confused and "corrects" itself by giving it to you.
Focusing on the fact that you don't have the thing is the exact opposite of what you want, because then you will only manifest more not having of the thing.

This is why the gospels say it's important to pray with faith, to not worry, and to be content. If you don't believe in the change you want to see, expect bad things, and focus on what you do not have, nothing CAN change and life will be misery, no matter how much you struggle.

As the only deity who now exists, I can speak with authority on this.

The rhythm of the intent of the breath, as a positive and negative balance of violence (psyche's content)

is all that influences it. You have to not use the mental monologue. That is just a split into the brain, from the Voice as Breath.

You have to breathe with your voice. The instinctual drive mediates your desire in accordance with the deepest aspects of your psyche, which you really want, which is why there are very few men who do get women by 11.

Almost none of them actually want it. It's in the breath. not the thought you morons.

only thing i can say is OP got a good taste in feminine physique, however i think u really should consider a more human approach to what u want, cus at the end of the day we are talking about ppl not sports cars....
so their asperations, their hopes and dreams, and their work style is more important than just fat in the right places with just the right bounce kek idk...
    >If I visualize something enough my chance of attaining it will be higher?

typically if u go only on the looks u will miss more than u will hit, or at least that is what i have been told.
that was the "be careful what you wish for?" for, if u are cultivating ur attraction based on a commodifiable characteristic i don't think that would be fair for either one of u, it doesn't scream relationship goals u feel me?
having physical beauty as a plus more than the base will help lead u to a keeper soon hopefully

I used to do this visualization thing when I was younger about some chicks I had crushes on. It worked in the way that they were all over me, it didn't work in the way that it happened years later and I didn't find them hot anymore

  9. 1 year ago
    Anonymous

yes. if you want to think of it an an overly simplistic way, you think of something and visualize it, even lightly, subconciously you will bring about the circumstances that allow it to be presented, an example is yesterday i felt like giving my coworker a hug, for context we arent close enough that we hug yet but i visualized us embracing. i didnt keep thinking about but it was time to leave work and she said, can i give you a hug? i feel like i should hug you, and so we did.

the other day i was preparing to do a tarot reading for myself, my significator card which i visualized was the hanged man, i was about to search the deck for it but it was the first card that presented itself.

many such examples and these are ones that i did not visualize for very long but just with true intent.

coincidence, perhaps if you want to see it that way, but when these things happen and you can directly corelate it to what you thought you understand it's not mere coincidence but a number of intentional factors.

True story. I think I accidentally manifested a girl from class to be attracted to me. I was bored at math class and had my seat behind her so I would look at her brown sexy hair and leopard leggings the entire time and getting so turned on I could not wait to go home and nut. I was visualising with all my energy that I am fricking her. We never hanged out or spoke to each other btw. At one point she turned around and asked something and I raised my eyebrows asking "what? " or something like that trying to act clueless and for some reason probably gave her a puppy eyes stare. Anyway she would later on start acting weird and silly around me, touching my pencils and stuff. When going home from school and talking to my friend she would out of nowhere tackle into me with her shoulders. I swear to god that one time in class she asked to go to the bathroom I was so convinced in my visualisation I knew if I went with her I would have fricked her in the girls bathroom right there against the wall.

I was not the best looking guy either. This was long time ago and I was a dense kid. Only now looking back I realise my over 9000 horny energy and imagination directed towards sexual fantasies with a girl that is in front of me for the duration of a math class could have maybe manifested her acting so weird later that my friend called her out "Aren't you in love with anon?" I remember she stoped a fight when I was in a headlock as if she was concerned about me but I didn't know why. I thought she was annoying and felt kind of bullied when she would touch my stuff. Later I found out from my mom that she told her "Anon is beating me." with a sad voice. It was obvious she lied so mom thought it was funny. I was angry because I thought the girl was trying to get me in trouble. Again, I basically ignored and avoided her. We never really talked or hanged out.

A commendable book stack. Mine would be
      >advanced magick for beginners
      >forbidden parapsychology
      >the exorcists handbook
      >random Goddard information.

On their own all of these will get you really good results, except for exorcist handbook (unless you’re being fricked with). But if you read all of these books and you’re not moronic you’ll realize they’re all talking about the same thing from a different angle. And then it gives you the ability to do anything or make any change in the world that you want.
Above I mentioned that you can’t really get results with the exorcist handbook on your own. but it’s a foundational glue that ties everything together. It’s the antithesis to the forbidden parapsychology and shows you everything that book doesn’t. Plus it’s kind of fricking cool you get to learn how to be an exorcist. Shows how to frick with demons, angels, elementals, curses, land spirits, parasites, etc. Fully teaches you how to travel the astral and enter others minds that parapsychology only briefly touches on.

AMFB shows you how to actually do the indirect method in forbidden, how to contact stuff in the astral so it’ll work for you effortlessly, and how to do Goddard without sats.

    Does Law of attraction work?
Things in a similar vein to it do work. Magick and woo-woo shit has made me about $600k and I didn’t need to do anything. No effort on my part at all. Stuff just fell into my lap.
The secret (law of attraction) is the weakest most annoying to do and shittiest one of these things. Law of assumption is better. Magick is even better than that.

I’ll include an example. I was actively doing rituals (chaos magick) for a car and then got a random windfall of money from 3 different sources. Got tax back pay they ignored for 7 years, random cousin I never met gave my grandpa money and he split it between kids and grandkids, an inheritance trust from someone who died unlocked and a family member on my other family’s side also spread some of the wealth.

So I figured I’d start looking at cars but was too lazy because it’s a cluster frick to get into that market.

Same time my father dragged me to meet his buddy for no reason (wanna grab drinks?) and it turned out he owned a car dealership. I brought up that I was looking for a car because it’s natural, and he asked what my budget was I told him and he said oh no we have nothing like that. Thought it was the end of that.

2 days later he calls back and says hey we actually just got someone bringing a trade-in that’s exactly what you need. They normally wouldn’t of taken it because it’s such a low profit point because he knew I was interested he took it. It was the genuine stereotypical story: A little old lady owned it at all the mechanics records all the maintenance records drove it like 20 miles a week max. Amazing car. Plus for whatever reason it was extremely cheap for its mileage.

So I took a 10th of this money that I did nothing to get to buy this car that I did nothing to search for.

But no law of attraction sucks ass don’t use it, you have to modulate your feelings and what you put out into the universe is 100% of the time like some histrionic moron Karen.

Based. But since you mentioned chaos magick, how elaborate were your rituals? And generally how much of a difference in the manifestations did you see from chaos magick vs law of assumption? I do decently well with loa, had it work well for me, but I'm looking to improve manifestation time and quality.

All I will say is this. Before I was married I had a pretty good track record of first seeing or hearing about a girl through friends or social media without actually knowing who she is, but then becoming semi obsessed and a month or two later I would be dating her. Now you could say that's just me working towards a goal. But it has happened so many times in my life and almost always in completely random ways that I do feel there's something a little bit more going on. Just one quick example, when I was in college I saw this cute blonde on stage at some play I went to. I couldn't stop thinking about her and later that night she popped up as a recommended friend on Facebook. After looking at her pictures I got even more obsessed and started telling myself that I had to meet this girl. I started seeing her everywhere on campus when I used to never see her, and my friends started pointing her out even though I had told them nothing about my crush. Then at some point we happened to walk into the wrong dorm room and it was a bunch of our friends, all girls, and she happened to be one of their roommates which I had no fricking idea. Then she decided she wanted to start hanging out with us, I got to know her, she started wanting to hang out just the two of us and then I was banging her probably two nights later. Maybe I've got that rizz like the zoomers say, but it seems like a pretty crazy series of coincidences that led her to me

Problem is I don't think it works on love. I saw a girl in my dreams twice. I went on a date with her last week, she didn't like me. I'm going to have some fun and in a silly way ask her out this week, see how it goes.

The law of attraction seems unlikely, but the law of assumption may be more likely. But whatever the case may be, here is my theory on what works and to what degree:
    1. Mind over mind, to a high degree. You can change your beliefs and your behaviour through self-brainwashing, if extreme enough you can fundamentally change who you are.
    2. Mind over body, to a low degree. You can change features of your body in somewhat drastic ways over long periods of time (see reddit link below). However the effectiveness seems to vary from person to person.
    3. Mind over the world/nature, to an almost non-existent degree. If it was possible to even a slight degree, things like directly increasing your chances at winning odds would be made obvious, but that isn't the case. It seems that the way to change the world is by changing how you interact with it, allowing you to get what you desire because you've allowed yourself to.

law of attraction is about being positive to attract positivity. law of assumption is about believing something is true to make that come true. but in either case, how good are you at self-deceit? because that's what this all boils down to. what a curse it would be then to be a truth-seeker, you find this power, yet can't use it because you can't lie!

Exactly. Is it any wonder that two simplifications of the same esoteric concept sound so similar? I don't think so. Much like elementary school physics teachers will often bring up the analogy of a ball on a string to explain how gravity creates circular planetary orbits.

How about this anon. What if I said I would give you a $1000 if you didn't think about a pink elephant?

Just remember you can't think about the elephant in any context. You can't remember the elephant. You can't remember that I'm going to give you money for not thinking about the elephant. You can't think about any part of the elephant. You can't think about WHY I asked you not to think about the elephant or why it's pink. And if you encounter any pink elephants or things mentioning pink elephants in your day to day life, like this very comment, you can't think about them or how you're not supposed to think of one or how you're not going to get the $1000 or might not get it if you can't stop yourself from thinking about them, because that too is a way of thinking about them.

            Sound easy? Try it out.

i'd just forget about the pink elephant, but then it'd also forget about the 1000$ prize money. i feel like that's the whole vicious cycle of loa, if you don't forget your wish then you'll focus on the fact that it's not getting fulfilled now, and if you forget your wish then you'll forget that forgetting the wish works or not in getting it fulfilled

No the one known here is fake and cringe, it's just a decoy but there is an esoteric version, i will say it to you because i don't care.

Beliefs are extremely important and you can change your "mental space" by changing your belief. So by believing really hard that you are not scared you will not be scared anymore, it's trully a mental ability that takes practice, more or less time depending on your base talent.

You will never summon a curvy milf in real-life with LoA

Also, the most important and true esoteric knowledge in it is that it serves for after life, your belief will play a role in what you will become, but i'm not gonna say more. (i'm not talking about religious belief only but beliefs in general, for exemple how you view yourself)

And yet you are still posting here, thus have already failed in your endeavor of having nothing in common, because instead of actually doing so, you found more satisfaction in loudly announcing your disgust and disdain on a forum full of exactly that kind of people.

Thank you for being an excellent example though.

See anon, he stated one goal, but truly desired, focused on, expected, and worked towards another.
And we see which one always wins out in the ends, no matter how many excuses or justifications you make.

The only way to truly alter your world and your destiny is to truly change inside what you seek and expect, until your two halves are aligned.
Or, I suppose, to align yourself fully with your self-destructive tendencies and entitled self-pity. I wouldn't recommend changing your conscious to reflect your toxic subconscious, but that does technically still resolve the tension, and you'll find your path suddenly straightened, smoothed, and full of appropriate opportunities all the same.

I'd say that the Law of Attraction in this regard is a lot like dating apps. You have a pool of people who might find you attractive, and the odds of those people finding you attractive and being compatible increases with the more qualities you possess that make one gender attractive to the other such as personality, looks, money, etc.

So let's say you have someone in mind that you really like. You might be attracted to them, but would they be attracted to you even if the universe oriented itself so that you had a chance encounter with the person you like?

Totally real but it requires consistent hard work for most people, and most people can't be bothered.
Also what you get isn't necessarily what the conscious mind wants, because sometimes you subconsciously want different or your "higher soul" knows best.
You also work in the world of karma.
I randomly threw a mars candy bar out of the window of my S3 recently and it made me wonder if someone had done LOA for something like "find a random candy bar on the pavement" just to see how it goes. Normally I would eat and enjoy it but this random moment I felt the urge to throw it unwrapped onto the pavement.
Everything is about awareness really and anything you gain is also about awareness not the thing itself.
The idea is it teaches you that we are all part of one thing, and this is how others will give you what you want via LOA
BTW law of assumption is far more accurate than law of attraction.
Neville Goddard is probably the easiest way to understand it.

No. Desire is an illusion. Abandon it. Learn to accept the universe for what it is. It won't be able to tempt to, it will want to bring you back to desire and dig your skull for any piece that might bring you to it. And in the illusion of abandoning the desire and universe, you will be provided with everything. Who yearns for nothing, become that.

That’s not a good argument. You have picked something that exists and can be proved to exist and then made the bizarre claim that something else that no one has been able to provide proof about could exist becuase that does. No reason to compare them.
No one on the LoA threads has ever provided any kind of proof. Not once. It’s mainly a scam

            >something that exists and can be proved to exist

You missed my point that there was a time when it WASNT proven. At any point in human history almost everything wasn't proven. What's to say that a fundamental aspect of our reality remains hidden? The issue with skeptics isn't that they are doubting, it's the sureness with which they have these doubts.

Secondly, there's thousands of success stories of people using both Assumption and Attraction.

And how is it a scam? It's free, all of the resources are found easily on the internet and the thread.

            Anonymous

They are mainly free now but for most of its history the only people that made any success out of it were the ones writing the books and suchlike to get money. Even now that’s still the case for a lot of it. That’s how they made a success. Selling false hope.
The argument that something might exist because other amazing things do and weren’t known about doesn’t hold any value. That just means you can make any absurd claim.
There aren’t any verifiable proofs that LoA works. Go somewhere non-biased (/x/ is biased towards bullshit) and it’s pretty clear that it’s something that’s untrustworthy, can’t be replicated and based entirely on stories.
The cope on the general is incredible. We’ve got posters that claim they can warp reality and yet they don’t and can’t on request. There’s no obvious limits according to them but they get tied up in ridiculous justifications about how it might work

            [...]

            and

            [...]

            for example.
If it could be proved to work I’d believe in it. But all you get is the “you didn’t believe hard enough” cope.

By your same logic Dark Matter (an established scientific theory) is not real. Its not observable, its not replicable in a lab, and its based mostly on unprovable inference.

The real issue is you're a midwit with no imagination that cannot think beyond the small worldview fed to him by ~~*academia*~~ and LE HECKIN BASED BLACK SCIENCE GUY.

            Anonymous

Dark matter isn't real, it's nonsensical bullshit meant to generate hype and thus research funds, and protect an established scientific paradigm, which in turn protects tenured professors that built their careers off that established paradigm. It's ironic that you dismiss a faith-based system by comparing it to another faith-based system. There is no more evidence to support the dark matter hypothesis than there is to support the simulation theory (which in turn supports LoA). There are mathematical formulas that support the scientific model of dark matter, but that scientific model is inherently flawed and no experiment to prove the model has ever done so, instead the experiments only establish new goalposts to the scientific model. "Oh if we can just prove THIS then we can prove ALL of it! Oh wait, now we have to prove this too! Then we can prove ALL of it! And this part has to be established too!"

Theoretical physics in general is almost a joke of a field, it's stuck in a hamster wheel of perpetually establishing new experiments and milestones to continually tack onto an inherently flawed model.

Science is not infallible, and we actually still understand very little about our universe, let alone reality itself.

Then I got a job for a friend od the family in the baltics and I made a lot of money and no friends so I kept to myself and avoided the gold diggers. I used to take long walks at night and thought/visualized what kind of girl I wanted. Tall, heavy breasts, no tats, virgin (or one previous partner), crazyfun but not to psycho, and so on.
