I love my coyote 2012 6 speed, I'm sure it would be fun with 3/4 the horsepower as well. In fact I'm off and on looking for one, because I absolutely love the way they look. They are still a-plenty at dealerships, and I'm sure they'd let you take a test drive. Test drive one and see if it's fun enough for you!
spend 9k on a nice 05-09 GT, and just keep it as a daily driver. As much as bench racers and bus riders will shit on you, it's still a performance car and in it's time, was impressive enough to be marketed as such. If it was fun and exciting to drive enough for the first owner to buy it, you'll enjoy it too. Then later down the line when you need more power, consider a swap or consider just buying a coyote s197 or an s550 when they start to come down.
I had an 06 and it was a gigantic raging piece of shit. PCM went out TWICE and it's a 2k repair each time. Check engine light was on constantly, leaked oil, etc.
Sold it and never looked back
what condition did you buy the car in?
>s550 when they start to come down
Those are disgusting looking, tho.
i really like the look of the s197, the rest are very meh

Maybe I'm a homosexual, but the 2015-2017 are some of my favorites, although i'm a bit bias because I love all mustangs, even the mustang II's and the late 70's shitbox foxbodies.

There must have been some kind of underlying issue for it to kill a pcm twice. Also worth mentioning, don't buy anything performance oriented of any year if you aren't prepared to fork over either money or personal skills for repairs when things fuck up when they do because no car is 100% reliable,
Mine was, then I put 4.56 gears in it, made it extremely fun. For about 3-4 months then as my daily it got really annoying to drive. It was the 5 speed idk if the auto would be as bad.

No
When it came out in 2005, yeah. Not anymore.
aww man 🙁
fair enough
>aww man 🙁
Yeah, sorry m8. If you can get a non-wrecked v6 version for less than $3000, think about Coyote swapping it. Then it will be rad.
>2009
SQUADALA, WE'RE OFF
That's retarded. New cars are boring, sterile and numb.
Engine swaps are retarded, might as well throw the car in the trash.
a test drive might elucidate this matter

Sounds like he bought a flood car with underlying wiring problems.
By definition, No.
