Sambas are solid, durable shoes, and comfortable as well. Unfortunately, once they’re really comfy and broken in the soles tend to be worn out.

Sambas were really popular here in like 2010 or something. They weren’t available in EU back then so I made my aunt from the fat people land to send me a pair. Those days..

They only make meme Sambas nowadays for some reason, the good ones had the blue tongue and the trefoil logo on the heel but you can’t find them anymore.

I got some and hecking hated them, they had some cheap insole that made you feel like you were actively walking in quicksand
ID on the jeans? Trying to get a similar pair

I love adidas shoes, i hate the chunky nike basketball sneaker shit and almost all of adidas staple lineup, sambas, stan smiths, spezials, have a very low quiet profile

    >Since they got really popular

People keep saying this. I don’t know where you guys live but where I live in the US I’ve only seen like 2 other people wearing Sambas in the past 8 months. I see way more Vans, Converse, Nike, other Adidas shoes, etc. I think they are just popular in these sorts of fashion circles and its skewing your guys perceptions. That said they are fantastic shoes. I’ve worn em since I was like 12. They last for hecking ever compared to similar shoes and the design is timeless and goes with almost anything.

You shouldn’t keep the regular insoles on shoes either way, it’s one of the places where they really cut corners. Even the Walmart "heavy duty" insoles are far better than 2mm of foam.

They are pretty durable for the type of shoes they are, and especially when compared to anything similar. I think the insoles are fine, but I’m one of those people who couldn’t really give a rats ass about em, as long as my feet aren’t in unbearable pain I don’t care. They are a bit better though than like Vans insoles or the Puma Superliga insoles (Pumas version of the Samba).

I bought a pair of basic b***h black/white Sambas for $30 on ebay back in 2015 that I still wear, the sole has worn a lot and chunks of the cushioning behind the heel have worn off, but I still wear them as my beater sneakers and they look better than they have any right to after 8 years of use.

i have a pair of these sitting in the back of my closet and i never wear them because they look stupid. they look like geekcore. they look like the first step to virginmaxxing. i stole them from a thrift store like 5 years ago and wore them once.

Not getting the black/white in an attempt to appear "not basic" is extremely gay and far more basic. Also guaranteed to look like shit

They are the most comfy sneakers I’ve owned however it is really annoying to see so many others wearing the exact same shoe. I live in a big city in the UK. do not get them. they are very cringe and do not look as good as i thought before i sold mine

They run a bit narrow so I wish I had gone up another size(2 sizes up from my usual size in other brands) but they’ve done well so far.

they’re for playing indoor soccer. if your feet are not used to physical activity and you’re not actively running around, they’re not going to be that comfortable for you and likely never break in…
