is it normal for trans women to be stalked by a malevolent 'presence'?

something has been attacking me at night for a long time now, sometimes I can feel it during the day, but it comes to strike when I'm sleeping
I'm wondering this is more likely when you're trans?

        I think that's a hallucination OP

I don't see anything, just sense it
some of it could be explained by sleep paralysis and other sleep problems, but it does feel very real

It feels real because that's how hallucinations work. If they felt fake it wouldn't be an issue anon

idk I'm pretty sure there's something real here, otherwise there would be more variation, like in dreams

Hallucinations don't have to visual, moron

they have to be sensory though

you know what I mean, hallucinations have to be visual, auditory, olfactory, etc
a sense of dread is not a hallucination

Yeah that's just either a delusion or trauma resurfacing

What if sleep paralysis is not an actual disorder the way medical science understands it, but a "nice" explanation for people being visited by spirits, demons etc in their sleep? It makes sense to haunt someone while they are asleep as that is when the body and the brain is most vulnerable to an outside visitor.

And with that talk I am going to bed. Good night /tttt/

I used to have something similar happen to me when I was little. I would be woken up from a sound sleep by something poking me hard in the side. I would wake up, and feel a dark presence like you described, and get goose bumps and terrible fear. Luckily it went away as I got older. Not trans.

honestly I'm not sure how real these things are and if they are just something psychological or actually supernatural, since they feel so real

They feel too real to be imaginary in my opinion. I think something was haunting me, it happened right around the time I was being molested too. It was just an all around scary time.

Incredibly normal. Most trans people have severe mental illnesses like schizophrenia (you) and the brain latches onto delusions like "if I just change my gender ill be happy"

Uh depends on what you think the cause of transness is; where you come from do the birds sing a pretty song & music fills the air?
