Is it a good idea to provide liquidity to a platform that's so new they still offer outrageously high yield compared to other options?

Hmm. How much are they willing to pay you back in case the platform in question decides to rug? 100% of your assets, maybe?

Also this. Doubt it's 100% but still.

      >dex nobody knows anything about desperately wants liquidity so they offer really high yield when other exchanges with a established reputation only offer like 2-3% at most
      >risk losing all of your assets if they somehow "hack" the platform (see Curve for the most recent and notorious example)
yeah man arbitraging is so much fun when you're exposing yourself with as much risk as leveraged trading

not that popular equals no hacks. besides if this is true

that's kinetix. its build on kava. not really dangerous in my opinion, kava has been doing things for years. it's direct competition to optimism and others like it.

then i don't see the risk. they survived the bear market judging from their chart so why give up now and just rug people? doesn't make much sense.

to add to this: they actually have tech under their belt. eth bridges, a full fledged sdk merging cosmos and erc together. that is not the kind of effort some pajeet group looking to rug pulls off. not at all.

        >he doesn't realize it's payday for the platform's devs pointing fingers at some imaginary hacker while they siphon liquidity into their own pockets

Yeah this is my main concern about it. We've had so many rugs this year you're never 100% sure if it's a good idea to try something else out of pure greed.

What's stopping the user from redeeming like every week? Are assets locked? Because if not it's a pretty good idea.

There's no need to lock your assets AFAIK.

only do so in small amounts. don't risk too much and only invest what you can afford to lose, etc. follow the basic reddit crypto advice before depositing a more substantial amount. gotta test the waters before actually doing something you'd regret later on
