He's quite intelligent and well-informed from a theology and philosophy perspective but I'm afraid his confrontational nature and general toxicity reflects poorly on Orthodox Christianity
I'm Christian, but the whole debating people online is fricking cringe. He's basically encouraging these kids to be zealot sophists, learning how to argue rather than how to live or worship.
I'm not Christian, but this is a valid sentiment. Carlyle said this once: "A man lives by believing something; not by debating and arguing about many things."
Sure, but I believe there is a difference in using apologetics to explain something and thus invite them into the faith, compared to using it to humiliate others and thus shutting them out. I think the issue, ultimately, is pride.
I think it's being overly sensitive to say that what this guy does is intentionally humiliate people, and if it were true, it would only lend legitimacy to the idea that he's right about something if everyone with an opposing view is that easily humiliated in debate, making him right regardless.

There's literally no other way to defeat these demons, this is exactly how they argue and convince low information normies.
yes, presup is sophism, he has nothing to offer, philosophically because he thinks that's paganism.he's only good if you're into conspiracy theories, and for theology you're better of going to the source, he doesn't even know greek or Latin so it's not like he has any knowledge you don't have access to.
His personality he portrays is very grating and unfunny unless you have somekind of emotional attachment his cultus.
No, and you can talk to him if you think he is. He has open debates on twitter and discord all the time. He is a grating social autist, though.
The idiot thing to do is to try to convince an idiot he's an idiot.
Except he's not an idiot.
>t. jay
I'm not him you dumb Black person. I'm just not gay enough to pretend people I don't like or agree with are all idiots (like you).

Apologetics and debate have always been a part of the faith.
