If it is the college that you went to or degree specific merch, I see nothing wrong with it.
Now if we are talking wearing a MIT or some kind of ivy league college that you didn’t attend is a bad look. Only works if you go full prep larp and you’re obviously wearing a vintage one.

Shut up stupid, you can’t tell by the way someone looks if they attended it. You can’t even say why it’s a “bad look”. You pretend you have style and your friends pretend it’s good.

lel, hecking narcissists. can’t imagine living your life trying to make people think you’re rich and smart all day in your harvard jumper and "replica" streetwear and then pretending you have taste on /fashion/.

Address my points you little b***h. Pro tip you can’t. I’m sure you look like shit when your ideas are this stupid.

          • Anonymous says:

i did. you sick hollow men always get assmad when someone points out your weird "stolen valor" shit on /fashion/.

          • Anonymous says:

Nobody cares what a bunch of gays like you think. You really think people think you’re doing a service? You would never dare to call someone out irl because you’re a little b***h online who rattled and thinks people get assmad. You think you’re worth impressing? Because I hecked a girl and she gave me her school hoodie. It don’t mean shit stupid. You would never call out a rep irl because you’re a pussy, and you’ll never say I didn’t attend a school either gay. I wouldn’t even buy a rep to try to impress gays like you.

          • Anonymous says:

at least when you guys get mad when we say your replicas are bullshit you get to claim you just like the style, to some extent.
you jumped on a guy’s nuts over a college hoodie.
            >omg i just think this ivy league logo on a grey shitty hoodie is sooo aesthetic
no you don’t. you like people thinking you went to a better school than you did.

          • Anonymous says:

your "style" is trying to make people think you’re rich and went to a good school because you are mentally ill.

Projecting yourself by buying expensive clothes to look better than you actually do. But like I said, you tattletale pussy never say it irl. List all the times you called someone out. You won’t cause you’re a pussy.

          • Anonymous says:

lel, you don’t even get to have a cool mental illness like being a psychopath.
the psychopath might pretend to be rich for a social benefit but internally he would know that is what he is doing and not get upset.
you guys go ballistic every time someone says they don’t like tattoos or replicas.
never thought there would be someone sad enough to get mad over someone saying it’s pathetic to wear ivy league hoodies when he didn’t go to that school, though.

          • Anonymous says:

That’s right little b***h you never said shit and never will. You’re a little b***h online and a real pussy.

You’re so stupid that you’re not even replying to the same person.
And no, I don’t own you an explanation. I gave my opinion on ivy league merch, if you don’t like it, you don’t have to chimp out and seethe all over the thread.
I couldn’t care less if you wear an MIT/Harvard or whatever hoodie, but based on your post alone we can clearly see that you’ll stand out like a sore thumb…

            >OP ask for opinions
            >People give their opinion
            >Chimp outs and rage replies everyone that he disagrees with
No one is trying to debate you. Wear your MIT hoodie or whatever, literally no one cares. Next time instead of asking "is x tryhard", simply make a thread asked I’m looking for positive reinforcement…

You’re a pompous and vacuous idiot, thinking he can look down from his ivory tower while living on the foot of the hill with his stupid idea that nobody but OP could disagree with.

          • Anonymous says:

he can look down on you. i guarantee he is better than you.
that’s because you’re just a little fraud, lel. it’s not hard to be better than you.

Look at this butthurt tattletale. Regale me, how many times did you call out a rep or a hoodie?

Say something b***h. Your dumbass spend hundreds on mass produced goods and you mad nobody cares. lil b***h

Lmao, I don’t know if you notice, but there’s more than one person itt.
I didn’t look down on anyone, I simply said that is a "bad look" and instantly got rage replies calling me stupid, assumptions about my style/friends and copes like "no one can tell bro".
All I meant/said (since seems like everyone here wants details) was that college merch/band tees etc usually signal stuff that you’re into/belong. So it can be a little awkward if someone brings up during a conversation what did you studied at x college and you didn’t attend.
Obviously you can wear whatever you want, no one cares, no one is going to "call you out" nor the fashion police is going to be called, but it can be a little awkward/assumptions based on that may be made. That’s what I meant by "bad look".

Sorry anon. I think clothes have a story but this doesn’t matter. I have a hoodie from a not great school and it’s comfy, I wear it. I rarely get asked about it but I just say I never went there and I got it from a girl I was seeing from there. I don’t think it really matters. Nobody would ask band members of nirvana if they were sonic youth. I have a keychain from Bermuda my friend bought me with my name. I never been to Bermuda. It doesn’t hecking matter. I don’t see why a fear of awkwardness is such a big problem, it’s a signal of low self esteem. If I had an MIT one and they asked I’d say yeah I went there, then ask them if it was a good school.

  2. Anonymous says:

Yeah i have a hoodie and a pullover from my school, i like to lowkey dunk on other people that i work with since the chances to get into the program was pretty slim and a lot still seeth that they didnt get in

  3. Anonymous says:

I went to a decent place, and I would say that stash is only really appropriate while you’re actually attending.

  4. Anonymous says:

Yes, it’s the midwit version of wearing a Gucci emblazoned tee. At best, it’s a conspicuous show of status insecurity, and it only gets worse from there. Find Jesus

Anyone can buy MIT or Ivy League shirts now and they do. Dumb stupids love wearing this stuff as a joke. They don’t mean anything anymore. Just this morning as I was leaving for work I had to walk past a dirty crack moron in my alley who was wearing a Princeton letterman and masturbating to some loose pages torn from a porno magazine
