i know the title may sound really dumb and may just be a bunch of zodiac sign "nonsense", but i find fascinating that i've never in my life heard of homestuck and suddenly when i began reading it and saw the trolls, i realized that my sign (leo), who is nepeta leijon, has the same personaity as me, acts like a cat too (i used to be a cat person, like in anime but well that was in the past), and worst of all, her lusus' (mascot) name is "Pounce de leon", my surname is "de Leon" too, i find that weird...
coincidentally, my mother, who loves going to the beach, always wakes up early to go swimming on a nearby pool, is a pisces, which in homestuck her character would be feferi, who is a "sea dweller".
that is amazing, is this pure coincidence? or is there something else?

Homestuck was smartly written, up to Cascade. Afterwards it is very clearly a matter of a change in writers, in which the narrative became less focused on occult, myths, symbology and other subtly significant parts of creation and zoned in on shitty teen drama.
The author must have given up and just handed out what his retard audience wanted.
I've been into Homestuck since 2009 and have a lot of thoughts on this. I'll take this thread as a sign I guess.

Eh, early act 6 was fine if ridiculously verbose. Hussie's dad died somewhere in the making of Act 6 and he also got scammed out of his Kickstarter money by The Odd Gentlemen, meaning that instead of spending his day-to-day immersed in the bizarre world of time loops and symbolism he had created for himself, he was dealing with a lot of grief. As such he lost the plot, especially with all the hiatuses he had to take, and so forgot how to turn the story back around to the conclusions he'd been building towards. The occult still mattered - your image is from the back half of Act 6 - but it got lost in everything. Plus honestly the shitty teen drama stuff started in Act 5.
I haven't read it, but it just sounds like they made a Pisces-themed character into a sea dweller, because Pisces in the zodiac is a fish, and they made a Leo-themed character like a cat, because Leo is a lion.
