What do you guys think of pic related? Parker IM if i’m not mistaken

Right, that’s what I was kinda feeling. Would you pick a black body w gold accents or a silver body w accents?

Looks amazing anon, but I am not looking for a fountain pen, I want a ballpoint (with parker refils so I can put a uniball jetstream in there), because it’s more pratical for edc and carrying in clothes. Fountain pens are very nice though

Beautiful. Is that a parker 51?

how do you guys carry your pens? whenever I had to subscribe something I always use that pen that they hand me, and my own pens just sit at home

I carry my ballpoint in my jacket pocket (inside) or outside, hidden

i’d throw cross pens if you’re set on gold
kaweco brass sport seems like what you want. it’s what i use and it’s easier to write with.

It’s nice but it’s not the professional look I’m looking for.

        Pilot Elite E95s
Japan had a lot of pocket pens back in the day, they’re awesome

I’d say silver + gold looks somehow feminine, but if you like it, go for it

I might pick that one later on for at home use.

Fair enough but keep in mind that pic related is a champagne gold pen. Maybe I picked I bad example. I did have an all steel parker IM that I lost somewhere.

nothing wrong with a gold pen if you already wear your watch and hebrewelry in gold. it’ll look bad if you wear silver/stainless.

parker pens are either amazing or total shit it completely depends on if they cramp your hand or not, with their size/shape.
          i love them.

Oooff I only do wear silver watches and belts (ocasionally a thin chain with a pendant).
I’ve like the parker IM, it’s not great to write pages with because it gets slippery with hand moisture, but for writing some notes and signatures it’s perfect.
The jotter I do not like, it’s too thin and tappered to be comfortable to grip. I have a vector in fountain pen and it’s fine but nothing special comfortwise.

Parker is average at best, nothing special sadly, quality has dropped since they moved the factory to France along with Waterman. Instead go for a Kaweco or Caran d’ache if you don’t want to break bank. If you’re set on gold, the latter has a model called Goldbar that you might like

You mean the materials? That’s fair enough, but I really LOVE the looks of the parker IM and can’t find a similar aesthetic to my tastes

      i agree with this wholeheartedly
all gold is kind of lame NGL. If you work on finance and don’t have a nice watch but have a gold pen thats pretty gay
Gold accent is really cool tho

        Thanks mate! Cheers

I think they’re nice especially with the brushed design.

I supose it looks better than a shiny finish
