Pattern matching on a site where the only thing interactive is a 39 questions test with only one answer correct per question, where smart people make mistakes in the last 5 or so questions. Yeah buddy, plenty of room for AI to work with. Not to say that the site is at least older than 3 years (video on yt from 2023 explaining each answer with exactly the same format and colors). There is literally no reason for anyone to implement an elaborate AI to prevent people from cheating at a bragging quiz that is not officially recognized anywhere
You can argue that the proximity of two ips and the second test being taken right after the first attempt with the same answers but humanely impossible time spent is a point AI could work with, but that implies communication with the server and harvesting the result data. Do you really think they do work with the results in any meaningful way for them to justify coding in back end? It's very unlikely

also, I did an IQ test a long time ago that was more "wordy" than this and got 155 out of 160 (20 std) so the test results are kind of similar accross different settings. telling you there is a g factor that affects everything and those tests are just trying to quantify that factor.
for what it worth, I'm just an average engineering PhD student in North America and wasn't the top in my cohort or anything so the top PhD performers probably are much higher than 3 standard deviations from the mean.

It's really just the final questions that are filtering people. I assume most could get through the first 30 questions. That's always been my issue with these shorter tests, there's not enough difficult questions to really measure higher IQ's.
the first 20-30 ish questions are retard tests, the last few are progressively harder and harder. there are only so many patterns you can think of to test people in about 30 minutes period before they become too hard and each take days to solve

As with any online IQ test, you'll need to knock anywhere from 25-30 points off of the final result to get a reasonable approximation of your true IQ.

The tests are not accurate around that range anyways. Two different tests might give you +/- 10 points, because the only difference at this level is one or two questions, which is just too noisy.

IQ isn't perfect, it's just correlated with a lot of good things. It's possible to have a high IQ and kinda suck, it's just that usually high IQ and good outcomes go together (no one really knows exactly why, that's just what the data says)
It's easy to lower it though. I went on /b/ recently and I got brain damage, so I can confirm IQ is mutable.

It's very possible that this is biased data though, because people with ADHD who are really smart are often able to coast through school and a white collar job without putting in any effort (hi), so they get diagnosed less than people who have ADHD and absolutely cannot keep up.

Empirically, the kids on stimulants have better outcomes. The ADHD kid who doesn't get stimulant is actually more likely to end up with drug addiction, believe it or not (the reason is that they'll reach for anything to make their brain work, and that's often alcohol or worse)

Score on the archived version is deflated so your score is the maximum of the RIX value given (For example if your RIX come at 110-120 then your score is 120).
So I did the netifly version from 2011 and got 125 +-5 first time, but I was sure I didn't comprehend these 90 degree rotation cubes. Decided to do a second attempt after a short break, because this test gave me a headache. I answered everything like I did before beside these rotation cubes. I had to spend quite some time going back and forth to see if they have something in common that I missed and it clicked for me. This time I got 152 +-5. Then I decided to cheat and see what the ceiling is and went through all questions to see which one is correct. It caps at 159 +-5 for 24yr.
Then I went down the rabbit hole and decided to read about these test and turns out there are plenty of versions with small differences and standards behind the score calculation and whatnot. This one is supposed to be deflated and people say some of the answers are wrong or too ambiguous. Overall it's quite good at giving you a mental gymnastic, but the scoring system seems to be defective

The average IQ is supposed to be 100, but when you give the same test to different countries the average can be a few points higher or lower.

also, keep in mind a full scale IQ test measures more than just matrice reasoning. Vocabulary, working memory, reaction time,Arithmetic and other facets are all measured. you could be in the top 10% for matrice reasoning but be in the top 2% for vocabulary/arithmetic/working memory which would bump up your full scale IQ.
