The ship approaching the right foorway seems to me like the impending future that you will need to embark on, the waves representing time and its unending force that ripples through you. The middle statue looking at the viewer seems like a focus on self-interpretation, as if someone was looking in the mirror deep in thought, it centers the piece but is also obfuscated meaning he is not whole. There seems to be a normal city scape behind him, maybe representing the present, and it seems to look like a train station, representing the middle between both ends, being the past and the future, where you've been and where you will be. The left opening represents childhood innocence, dreams and the possibilities we used to see in our younger days, and perhaps a feeling of never truly having reached this goal, but still seeing it in its beauty despite having to stand looking at it. The leaning tower of Pisa is standing straight, perhaps to help ground this dreamscape. The only thing I am unsure of is the flames in the middle.

It's fricking pretentious. 99% of all art is pretentious garbage made by people who think they mean something. Disgusting.

art isn't pretentious, it can almost all be enjoyed at face value and on an interpretive level without rendering either other irrelevant

      More like wannabe-pretentious

It’s obvious the “child” and the giant stupid fricking head is the artist, who is likely OP

As for everything else… very cliche
