MVPs don't matter when Giannis can win back to back just by being tall
Curry should have 2, the Iggy one is fucking retarded, so 2x
All stars don't matter
All NBA teams don't matter >defense in the NBA >mattering
Curry/Warriors in general have completely fucked Lebron out of being considered the true GOAT. I don't mean like current great, I mean better than Jordan #1 player in NBA history.
If Lebron won every series vs the Warriors he has 7 titles out of 10 appearances and would be much harder to dispute as the GOAT over Jordans six. Losing to Curry 4 years out of 5 basically fucked over the last true competitive seasons he had left in him with a solid team. The Lakers aren't in a good spot right now and unless he manages to jump ship to a competitor he'll never step out of the Jordan shadow every media person has placed on him since his start in the NBA.
Lebron has a 3-1 comeback against him while Curry needed Love and Kyrie to get hurt to beat Lebron.
2017 and 2018 don't count because those are KD's rings.
>gift
Nah drayboon deserved to be suspended, he should've been suspended in the wcf after kicking multiple thunder players in the crotch when they were down 3-1 but silver didn't have the guts to do it. Funny how LeBron haters never mention this
Curry's best individual season. Still on Team LeBron between the two. They are supposed to win that series but choked hard. 73-9 would take a very long time to beat.
>regularly dissappears in the 4th >blew 3-1 lead then begged kd to come play cause he was that scared of LeBron
Dude is the most fraudulent bus rider of all time
LeBron would forever be in Jordan's shadow. Dude won every Finals he's been in. 95-98 Season basically gave him the team he needed to go for more championships.
Shit comparison. Curry is a shoot-first PG and a much, much better scorer than Stockton. And Stockton was much more of a facilitator, was way, way more durable and would never make the sloppy passes that Curry does.
He doesn't really affect Lebron's. He ruins Kobe's legacy though. Kobe's whole philosophy is that he's the alpha and you're going to have to take the dogshit shooting performances if you wanna ride his coat tails to the top. Steph is a better shooter and has an ego that attracts other great players rather than driving them away.
Durant's legacy also takes a huge hit. His only rings came with a team that won titles before AND after he was there? Pathetic
I was just thinking, but its coming to the point where there wasn't really a "Lebron Era", you had Kobe and then you had Steph. Both of whom will end up with more rings by the time they're all done. It's damning, how can you be a GOAT candidate without and era? How can you be a GOAT candidate when your peers won more than you? I still think Lebron in terms of overall ability beats out any player in history, but in terms of hardware, legacy and all that jazz, its looking very sad
>It's damning, how can you be a GOAT candidate without and era? How can you be a GOAT candidate when your peers won more than you?
The actual non-shit talk answer to this is by being drafted by Cleveland. If Lebron would have been drafted to any other team, he would have an even legacy with MJ at this point.
Very true actually, and I do stake a lot in the ability to eventually win a chip with that godforsaken, cursed team in that utter shithole. That ring ranks probably the highest ever, especially given the team they were up against and the circumstances they found themselves in in the series.
Lebron's career seems like it's on a higher difficulty. Like he's playing Hall of Fame mode and everyone else is playing on All-Star. Even the "stars" he's played with suck outside of Wade. What has Bosh, Love, Kyrie, AD, or Westbrook ever accomplished without Lebron? When Lebron does finally get to a point where he should be racking up rings, this dynasty team comes out of no where and he still goes 50% against them until they add Durant.
One underrated aspect of the Curry / LeBron dichotomy is that Steph never pulls the same sort of roster control bullshit LeBron and clutch do. And part of that is because he has maybe the best front office in basketball so he doesn't have to, but him not being a control freak who wants to run the team also helps the GM by not forcing him into bad trades and signings.
LeBron made teams overpay for mid-tier players as favors, forced teams to fire coaches, forced teams to trade draft picks to go in win-now mode, and he always had one foot out the door so he didn't give a fuck about the long term because in the long term he was gonna go somewhere else. Except now he botched the timing so he's stuck with the mess he helped create. Steph just waited out the down years, showed some faith in his team and got rewarded for it. As it should be. Also the NBA is rigged and none of this shit matters fuck Draymond Green
Steph's 4 years 44 million contract was the worst in the league (and therefore the best for the W's FO.) He has uplifted a franchise to dynastic relevance in every way, like only Jordan and Duncan have before.
what legacy
idk much about basketball, but he looks cooler than Lebron.
all that goes down the drain if Curry win for the fifth time
how many trades forced?

Curry was shut down by Delly that year
Yet Curry has 4 rings compared to LeBeta's 3 (no, the Mickey Mouse bubble ring does not count)

who won Finals MVP those two years?
You mean Lebron had the NBA gift him wins to come back from 3-1.

3-1 . Has same no of rings . Might win next year , while LeBron will enjoy in cancun.
LeBron would forever be in Jordan's shadow. Dude won every Finals he's been in. 95-98 Season basically gave him the team he needed to go for more championships.
Lebron needed help, while Curry is a franchise championship.
Curry is basically what if Stockton had a championship ring?
Curry is
>What if Stockton was significantly more productive, and beat the Bulls 3 times, including once without Malone?
Shit comparison. Curry is a shoot-first PG and a much, much better scorer than Stockton. And Stockton was much more of a facilitator, was way, way more durable and would never make the sloppy passes that Curry does.

Negatively. Very negatively.
But not nearly as much as he affects KD's legacy

Can you elaborate

Lebron would've had five rings if he didn't shit himself against the Mavericks.
Thank you based dirk

I hate lebron but it does nothing to him. If anything it hurts durant.
Curry is 15-7 in the playoffs vs lebron.
Curry needed KD to beat lebron's cavs at full health. Just remember that
Curry has won without durant. Durant can't win without curry. Curry is 15-7 in the playoffs against lebron.
