Congrats! C is a good choice for a project like yours that will never be used in the real world, because it won't matter that's it full of holes.

I haven't made a project in anything but C for years now.

At this point I have a library I ship with each project as a subtree that makes my C look like Python.
It has its own build system that the parent project can use

      My workflow
      >write new project
      >new dependency? ill just write it myself
      >library has more features
      >strip unused code
      >build time still fast as fuck

      I am unironically employed.

Do you think there are fewer than 50k NPCs in the world?

I found a cool application, but it's written in rust. I'm going to rewrite it in C.

I'm writing my neural network in C.
right now in working on converting this to C++ and use the C++ arrays thing so that the code is much more easy to modify in the future,
also I'm working on a much more practical application, that is handwriting recognition using mnist database.
