im never buying audiophile shit ever again.
fucking garbage. My 50 dollar headset, yes headset sounds fucking better and is way more comfortable than your audiophile garbage. Tried hd560 and dt770 pro. Both horrid garbage.
im never buying audiophile shit ever again. fucking garbage.

The high end stuff usually needs a good DAC to drive them.
>DAC
waste of money, I think you meant AMP
What's a good amp for the 990 Pro? The 250 Ohm ver
>Tried hd560 and dt770 pro
Do those headphones even qualify as "audiophile"? Or does audiophile start somewhere around the Hifiman Sundara-tier? Which is around 300 bucks?
i spent 1/4th of a paycheck on a stax flagship lol get a job
To get the good audio, you have to plug your headphones into a bulky box with lots of dials and sliders and be like
>Not now son, the big game is on.
There is no shortcut, OP.
I kind of envy OP's mindset. Imagine how amazing it must be to feel completely content and just be happy with a fucking dogshit 50 dollar GAYMERZ headset. No more spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on audio equipment. Must be great to live in ignorance.
>No more spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on audio equipment. Must be great to live in ignorance.
DT990+UMC202HD is all you need
>DT990
These are great if you just play video games with them. They have good imaging and a high as shit treble peak. They're dogshit for music listening and any type of other listening. The mids are shit, causing vocals to sound like shit.
>UMC202HD
I wouldn't use Behringer shit if it was handed to me for free. Their shit is horrendous.
reaching there poorfag
God I love people like you who brag about audio Munchhausen syndrome. I have never been more wealthy since starting a company selling to folks like you
You don't have a company, you're not selling anything, you're nothing, because you're a nagger. Don't ever get that twisted again.
You are to audio what naggers are to shoes.
probably the best quote i've seen here
How so? I spend money on this hobby, because I understand the nuances and when the diminishing returns have kicked in. It's the nuances between the high-end equipment that keeps me intrigued. Like I said, you're a dumb fucking monkey nagger. You don't have a company, you don't have anything.
Says the nagger who owns fucking garbage trash like Beyerdynamic and your fucking Behringer made in chinkland trash. Behave, nagger.
>oook oook ooook check out these nuances in these kicks nigga ook ook ook
OP's mom sucks cock
My main issue is that i always break my headphones, so audiphile ones would be a huge money blackhole for me.. either i trip over cable, puill it too much, or it just gets worn easily over time.. or my headphones fall on the ground for countless reasons.. when it comes to headphones im just extremely clumsy for some reason..
>My main issue is that i always break my headphones
Stop stomping on your tech toys when you lose a dota match
>buys second worst beyer
>it sucks
WOW
Should've gotten the TYGR300R
>is way more comfortable
Pressing X on that one, most gaymer headset can't into comfort
>dt770
>audiophile
u wot m8
this is consumer shit
Until you can get lcd-2c don't bother with headphones at all, just use IEMs.
I like the DT770 but what the fuck do you mean "audiophile"
I bought those & returned them too but it was because my head is too big, they clamped my head too hard. I think I'll just stick with earbuds because I doubt there's a good headset that's made for big head like mine.
>post some generic mid range headphones
>"Omg my gaymurr headset is better"
Let me guess your job probably involves hitting concrete with a blunt object and you don't wear any ear protection?
you didn't try the 6XX. Pair it with a DAC, enable kernel drivers and it will fix loonix audio
>audiophile
>770s
radio stations literally use these because they are cheap and disposable
Is there any actual truth and clear difference when using a DAC / AMP on desktop, compared to using the built in sound on a motherboard? For reference I have a pair of DT770 and they sound good right now, that is compared to previous headphones I’ve had
DT770 Pro are pretty good, OP is just retarded.
If you don't hear background noise (humming, buzzing, etc.) and the headphones are loud enough the no, you will likely not get any huge sound quality improvement from a dedicated DAC or amp.
I don’t believe I’ve heard any humming, buzzing or anything you’ve mentioned. Once I get home from work I’ll take a deeper listen and see if I hear anything out of the ordinary.
>If you don't hear background noise (humming, buzzing, etc.)
NTA but I have tinnitus, so I don't think it'll matter
honestly i got these chinese knockoff headphones and they sound fucking amazing, especially for the price, about 28 burgerbux
Get your ears upgraded man
I have 80 ohm dt 770 pro just plugged into my pc rear port, am I gimping my sound quality by not using a dac/amp/whatever for it?
depends on what dac your pc have, if it's an ALC1xxx series dac you're just fine.
imagine spending over 50 bucks on headphones.
just get 9500 or 9600
>t. bought the 250ohm version like a retard
