I don't have any signs of balding yet but I fear it. I really just wish I could bring myself to get on HRT so I can put these fears of masculinizing at ease.
Tons of older men are clean shaven and also I'd rather have a full head of hair than balding.
I think there are some OTC hair loss drugs but unfortunately in the US you probably have to just find someone who's willing to give it to you.

really the only one where there's no good black market substitute is the topical stuff and you could probably DIY it by grinding up fin and dissolving it in PG or ISP and then mixing that with some high strength (10%) minoxidil, and dribbling a little bit of 0.1% tret gel and shaking it up. the topical does have some hydrocortisone as well, but I don't know if that's really important.
