>asswheel drive >a shitty turbo boxer >slow >rounded and podlike >incel car >same thing over and over again with no improvements
Better ways to spend money but since you even considered this shitbox and want in on subi culture you're lost cause.
Not bad for the money. Engine is detuned from the factory, but can pick up at least 30hp and a fuck ton of torque with just a tune.
The tranny is the weakest link and it WILL hate you when you do hand brake turns. Also, anything more than 350 hp on the stock tranny is asking for trouble.
I have a 2017, I like it. Premium gas is always feelsbad though, its much more expensive. Obviously get the manual.
Mine is stock and people are constantly asking me about modding it, im just not that interested. I feel like poor mods is why so many of them get blown up.
It's a great car for the money. It's got a lot of tuning potential, fantastic aftermarket and the stock suspension is terrific. It also makes little kids happy when they see it.
I agree with this, I had a 13 sti that I sorta regret selling but I didn’t really care all that much about it after the new wore off. they’re fun cars but overhyped unless you mod them then you run the risk of having Subaru problems
they’re really just too damn heavy now with all the nanny bullshit and crash safety regulations
blob and bug eye wrx are best because they’re small light cars, now it’s just a bloated 4 door sedan with safety sensors and itesla touchscreens. probably still fun but a 7 second 0-60 sports car is lel
Why would you want a $40k vehicle with no ground clearance and low profile tires as a winter beater? I never get this argument. Buy a winter beater and a summer performance toy, not a shitty compromise of the two.
Depends on the roads where you live. Here in Vermont I enjoy it as a daily but if I was down in Massachusetts the road quality with the stiff suspension would probably knock a filling loose.
I ended up garaging the wrx over the winter cause I was worried about high centering it. Also the gear ratios combined with a turbo that lags hard below 2500 rpm really sucks for low speed low traction stuff. I Bought an old cheap suburban and that was awesome. Then I was like WTF do I need the WRX for? so I sold it and I dont miss it. Honestly my 20 year old crossover SUV is more exciting than the wrx.
>incel gets incel car and posts about it on incel forum
No, I'll just laugh like usual
Good car for someone who hates their money.
You're here too y'know.

Get a blobeye or dont bother
Still one of the few 250+ HP cars you can get new with a manual for around $30K, but man they fucked up the looks of this gen. Last gen looked great.

I fill up twice a week. It's painful. The car is fine. I mog most people on the road. But I do wish it was faster at the lower end.
Ugly. Slow. Gay.

you would like that wouldn't you?
>Used V8 money for a piece of shit that gets raped by minivans
Why do people insist on spending more than 30k for performance cars with less than 450 bhp? How are people this fucking retarded.
The car sucks but whatever, nu cars all suck
What's it like to daily this thing? I live in a northern state where it snows a ton and it seems like the best option for a performance car here.

The VB has a large increase in low end torque and really no lag to speak of.
I’m more of a Subaru legacy fan
dont forget to dilate, xir
