Im built weird

I’m built weird and I look like shit in everything. Where do I find a tailor/get my measurements (I live in the us)? I read the sticky but my main problem is my proportions/posture, no matter what I try on I look shitty so I never want to “cop” anything. Any suggestions for my akward build?

    The US has tailors like anywhere else in the world. But judging by your phrasing i’m guessing you live in suburbia or flyoverland where there’s not a proper tailoring house. But you can still probably find a local grandma who can measure you and alter clothes for you.

        He could easily recomp to a non-stupid body in a couple of months by doing calisthenics. If he starts bulking from this, it will take ages before he doesn’t look like a fat slob anymore.

    You look like you have shorter legs than your torso, or maybe 50/50. If that’s the case just worry about your fits NOT having a 50/50 top/bottom split. Buy shorter or cropped tops or tuck that shit in and don’t wear low rise pants.

        My belly hair just grows like that, it started balding around my belly button at age 20 but the head on my hair is completely intact so I’m just thankful for that.

        I don’t try very hard at all, I generally wear joggers and hoodies/t shirts from h&m.

        its marginally better than average but not truly handsome. I have a baby face with big green eyes.

        Thank you all for your feedback, I’m going to focus on fasting for a month or so and then once I achieve my goal weight (150, I am currently 165) increase my calorie intake proportionally to my exercise regiment. I will return for actual fashion help when I am less of a fat ass.

          I’m not dysmorphic if my self observations true. I AM a framecel but honestly my only goal is just to not have a panic attack everytime I look in the mirror or buy/try on new clothes. I realize I will never look “sexy”.

          You can cope with a bad frame by getting some upper body mass. I get what you’re saying about trying to look normal, I’ve been there too. It does get a lot better

    Hey anon I’m built somewhat like you. Kinda dad bod, kinda skinnyfat, mainly beer and fritanga. I definitely understand how you feel, and what I’ve done is this.

    1. Find clothes that fit your body first. Don’t focus too much on style on this part but find articles of clothing you that complement your body. Examples are things like baggy but short shirts, or pants that are 5 times your size, or jackets that have wide shoulders, you get the point. The thrift store will be your best friend for this bc u can buy/try a bunch of shit that you just need as a reference. Just try try try try.

    2. Once you’ve found those pieces that you complement your body, MEASURE EVERYTHING!! Keep notes of these measurements maybe with reference photos and description notes. Don’t be lazy anon, keep track of everything.

    3. Find a style that you like. Go with whatever “core” style is trending, keep it classic, go futuristic, conform to whatever subculture you love. Now that you have measurements of garments that compliment your body, all you need to do is find garments/brands in those measurements that conform to the style that you like.

    4. Don’t stop experimenting. Just keep trying different combos. Spend a day fixing your wardrobe by trying on different pieces together, see what works/what doesn’t, just keep your mind open to the possibilities of those things looking good on you. Not just sweats and T-shirt’s.

    Hey anon. I used to look just like you. Don’t listen to the others in this thread you are built weird, but you can use that to look great.

    You need to hit the gym and cut some of the fat. You have a bigass chest compared to the rest of your body, like me. Once lose some fat, stuff will fit you better, trust me.

      You are not built weird, you just need to hit the gym. You shouldn’t be making up shitty excuses like genetics unless you are severely deformed or paralyzed.
      Start a 4-6 day a week workout routine focusing on side delts, lats and triceps to enhance the V taper and make your waist look smaller. As others also pointed out, developing your chest is also a good idea to get that armor plating outline that will make you look more masculine, but don’t go overboard, focus mostly on the upper portion of your pecs by doing incline bench presses.
      You don’t have twig arms which is honestly a good foundation, when I started I had a really hard time developing my skinny arms, you on the other hand have decent arm thickness for a novice so do mostly maintenance bicep training, focus more on triceps for a fuller look.
      Lastly and goes without saying, try to slim down that gut, but first focus on building muscle and only then you can start thinking about cutting.

        Routine doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner like me. Just do something that hits your muscle groups 2-3x a week, push yourself, and make a plan that’s easy for you.
