I'm a Catholic and studying Taoist forms of sexual transmutation. Is it a sin to research and or practice the methods taught? I don't really consider it diving into the occult as I am only trying to improve my semen retention and avoid masturbation, which is a sin, by studying the knowledge of ancient cultures and looking at it through a purely scientific and practical lens. I'm not planning on converting or anything like that to Taoism. However you could argue it is occult and I'm trying to use Taoist methods as a cheat code to beat temptation. I literally just don't want to go to hell.
No you're alright to study such. Jesus said the most important commandment is to love God with all your heart. As long as you don't fall deep into degenerate and become a burden to others, you'll be alright.
?
Protestant bs.
Now the time you are using could be for you God and not the sorcery as the Bible describes other beliefs. The Abrahamic religions as well as Buddhism Hindu and most, claim that when you are studying another religion you are talking away from God's time.
Now catholic have very strict rules on things that are not Catholic, you are making a gateway for possession by demons.
Ask a priest, if you're Catholic shouldn't you have access to a priest to ask this ?
Many groups utilize the same tools. They're not exclusive to any one religion or otherwise.
1. Reverse kegels. That area between penis and testicles, keep it open. Breathe into it. Don't contract it.
2. Be present with your partner. Orgasm doesn't matter either way, the idea is that you are not focused on orgasming. Stimuli is like a vortex of union. Once you go chasing orgasm, you are somewhere else in space & time than with your partner. You are chasing indulgence. If it happens it happens, it's not a big deal. The idea is that you aren't trying to.
To anyone else reading, it's not mandatory to follow it this way. This is how to use it with union. Repression leads to contortions in the self that will surface in other ways.
You can choose to engage in indulgences consensually while still following "spiritual" paths. You will have to decide for yourself when this goes too far, and tend to what is taxed after you process this period of indulgence
Take care friend
OP is Catholic, there's sins that will not allow OP into the afterlife, sorcery is what that is under.
Nothing sourcerous about breathing into your gooch and unionizing with your spouse. It can take you to the state of grace.
Avoid
A rabbit hole indeed
you're avoiding masturbation in sin, masturbating to masturbatory energy -- masturbator!
The Bible says to put your full trust in God, that He will always provide a way out of your temptation. Depending on yourself instead of God is ridiculous. But seeing as how you're even contemplating this I can tell your faith is not strong.
Because you talk to God,
I'm not Muslim but can you calm down your people please
I'm not a muslim, I'm a follower of Jesus Christ.
Even research of spiritual things can cause other spirits to enter, falls under unpure thoughs.
I'm glad I'm ordained in my own religion, as long as I believe it's a religion.
I don't have to worry about this stuff of what is right and wrong
Catholicism is fucking retarded. Sin is a fictional concept designed as a form of moralistic control.
You're a failed human being.
yes its a sin. everythign is a sin. dont do anything. just work
Hi! 9 years practicing internal arts of the Taoist variety here.
The thing about celibacy is that it needs to be mental to for the energy to transmute.
If your mental stillness (or focus on god and faith in Catholic terns) is not complete it will do no good to try and not orgasm or refrain (entirely) from sexual release.
This is why we see so much abuse from Catholic Priests. Because they think it's enough to just not have sex or sexual release when it's a deeper process that for its foundation REQUIRES mental Celibacy.
When you have a desire it splits a portion of your pure essence from your core and begins to form it to the type of energy needed to manifest said desire be that intellectual, emotional, or sensual. And that energy once converted becomes stagnant and damaging if it's held onto from there. Hence you have a load of Cath celibates who have never had this explained and are taught to not engage in sex but their minds are not free enough from desire so the energy causes problems. This is well known in Taoist Circles.
It's obvious to anyone who's been far enough along the path that at one point the Cath lineage had good energetic alchemy yet the problem stems from having austerities and mandates on behavior while losing the foundation of internal stillness.
It's not a sin to use your energy to bring you closer to Heaven. But toward Heaven is not as easy as following some commandments or simply saying some words claiming your allegiance to Christ.
There are still people in the world carrying the energy and true baptism. Find one, Test them, and then do what they teach from then on out with your deepest commitment and sincerity.
Blessings on your journey.
Cool
Most of the modern western occult traditions have roots in the historical hobbies of catholic clergy
You could instead research your religion more deeply and see what is really a sin and what isn't.
or you could just study biology.
practicing sexual transmutation is probably a bigger sin than fapping
