I’m the anon that originally called you leatherfag, and I kinda like it at this point. Anons are telling people to go to investment bank interviews in leather kink outfits. I’m not even going to call it out anymore. Lel.

kek. that’s the one thing you shouldn’t do. you really have to limit how much leather is in one outfit unless you’re headed to a bdsm convention. Like you said too (iirc) darker jeans work wonders with it, and that’s how far I go with it.

I just like jackets that aren’t bomber jackets

I have nothing against leather, it’s just that some anons take it too far or want to wear it for the wrong occasions. That being said, all this leatherposting has just cause me to become more curious about how to incorporate leather into my own wardrobe. heck it, throw your leather jacket and your nut sack on the desk at your interview. Show’em whose boss!

leather jacket is top if you’re white
if twinkbuil.d they can make you stronger
if bulky they can make you skinny

I decided I’m going to get an overcoat
But where do I find a good unstructured one in the EU?

thrift store? Try a local tailor though, it might be cheaper than buying shit from store

I’d like something mid length, not so long that it covers my knees but long enough to avoid shirts peaking through the waistline of my outerwear

It’s not, it gets windy in the winter but there’s rarely any rain and cold temps are in the 1-5 Celsius range at worst
      I don’t like leather jackets

I have this wool coat. I love it and it keeps me warm through the cold winter days with the right accessories. I also have a trench coat for the days that aren’t super cold.

What’s a good brand for wool coats in the entry level price range (200-300 euros)? Preferably unstructured

ok this is how you do it: save up 500 bucks wait for winter season sale on berg&berg and get a wool winter coat from them BECAUSE YOU NEVER GO CHEAP ON WOOL COAT, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER

Same reason you don’t go cheap on a sports coat. They fall apart quick and are made of shit materials. Same with everything that’s cheaply made. There’s nothing worse than trying to look nice while wearing cheap dogshit.

I have an old Burberry wool overcoat my grandpa used to wear and gave me but it’s too large for me, can I bring it to a tailor or is that kind of stuff impossible to get tailored properly

          • Anonymous says:

If the chest is too big or if it’s too long, don’t bother. A tailor can slim the waist and sleeves, and shorten the sleeves if the buttons aren’t functional, but don’t expect magic if you look like a baby in it.

          • Anonymous says:

It’s a bit too large yeah, sleeve length is fine I’m just not enough of a big guy to wear it
            Not worth bothering with then?

Just wear it. It looks best oversized. I have an old Zegna overcoat from my dad, it’s slightly too large but still looks good
