He's coming to my town soon. The tickets are not cheap but I love The Stooges and some of his solo stuff.
Has anyone seen him recently? How is his live show these days? What's his set list like? Is he still a good performer? Man's almost 80.

Twelve years ago I saw The Stooges at the very last Riot Fest that I would ever attend.
Back then, Iggy still had it, and I wouldn't be surprised if he could still put on a show that would knock your sox off.

I saw him on the Post Pop Depression Tour and he was still in top form, romping around on stage like a caged aninmal, jumping down into the crowd etc etc. at what, 68 y/o I guess? The great thing about frontmen like him is that he was never truly a "singer" in the terms we know it, so his voice hasn't degraded to a disappointing degree. You see Iggy in 86, you see him in 2023; you got that same singing voice.
I was listening to The Idiot earlier today and thinking that Iggy sounds about 70 on that record when he was barely 30.
He's really starting to look his age 🙁
I saw him in 2003 I think or something like that. Ron Asheton was a fucking beast, and Iggy was still running around like he was in his 20's.
