I want to starve myself until I pass as more androgynous, but I suck at it. I gained some weight in recent years and it set me back so much. My inherited body type is one of those that holds onto weight really stubbornly which, I'm sure benefited my family in the last hundred years because of the famines they went through, but it's fricking me up. Skinny people can dress however they want and pass.

as long as you put in effort every day, i'm sure you'll get somewhere! or at least maybe get lipo someday.
have you tried growing out your hair as well?

Thank you, you're really nice. Lipo probably isn't gonna be an option for me anytime soon for insurance reasons, but I will likely leap at the opportunity if it comes. And my hair is actually nearly to the bottom of my ass. I like to hide in it like Cousin Itt sometimes.

how do you do it without overeating afterwards? I'm not fat but the moment I reach 30 I'm gonna get gigabloated if my dad's anything to go by.

I naturally don't even eat that much, but I guess that means the amount it takes for me to binge is less too. Honestly, the only thing that's been helping me make a dent lately is that I got put on adderall. I try to keep myself busy too avoid eating from boredom. Mixed success.

      >have coffee in the morning with a small amount of milk and erythritol
      >eat once a day at 2-3pm, no more than 600 calories

I've dropped 10 lbs this week and plan to keep going.

That's interesting, actually, I'll definitely look into that because I don't know what erythritol is

DO NOT listen to this homosexual. Starving yourself WILL be detrimental to both your physical AND mental health.
Losing weight can be good for you but it has to be done the right way - slow and steady, regular exercise and a healthy but not too restrictive diet.
If you starve yourself you will sooner or later start binge eating in an endless yoyo diet cycle, believe me. Especially considering you said your genetics predispose you to holding on to more fat.
I wish you lick anon, beware of malicious anons giving you advice that will lead to your ruin.

straight men get fat once they're married and have kids because their wife suddenly becomes a b***h and all financial stress is suddenly on their shoulders, and with that said, they no longer come home from work to enjoy hours of sexy time with the woman who's now cold and distant so alcohol in front of the tv or pornhub late at night becomes their comfort

if you're on /lgbt/ you probably won't have this issue

I stuff myself with the most vile industrial-residue artificial sugar candy and carbs whenever I'm anxious though, and that happens pretty frequently. I'm not fat because I exercise and my metabolism is really good. For now.

I was 200lbs at the start of last summer, now 140. I work out a lot now but in the first few months I just started smoking cigarettes more and picked out a few energy drinks I like to effectively suppress my appetite

a lot of people say weed gives them the munchies or whatever, but I used it instead of eating whenever I felt like eating anxiously
For me and a lot of others who struggled to loose weight in the past, it's better to adjust yourself to not eating much than to count calories and track all your exercise, that way it sticks with you more and you don't feel like you're missing out on your favorite foods because after a while you simply don't feel like eating much anymore

moron I'm 5'6 and just short of 200 lbs lol even if I ate literally nothing for weeks on end I still would not be "starving" because my body has enough fat to burn for energy for some time.

There's nothing wrong with restriction or fasting when you are FAT. It only becomes an issue if the person is clearly underweight and wants to keep losing.

No it doesn’t everything you just said is a lie, my family is fat and being fat runs in my genes. But I am 90lbs and I am 5’7”. My secret is that I hate chewing and eating, I also like the cold aching sensation. This is how you get skinny, just don’t eat and hate food. When I hang out with friends I don’t eat and they sometimes eat my food. The issue I have is that now it’s impossible to gain weight. I have to buy boost and eat three or more meals a day to gain weight, but I am not going to do this because frick eating.

I appreciate your concern and I promise it's not falling on deaf ears. I'm slowly incorporating more exercise, although it's tough because of some lower back issues. Also I'm keeping up with vitamins and supplements to avoid deficiencies (I naturally have super low iron, addressing it with vitamins as well) I'm frustrated with my body, but I'm not gonna destroy it.

Holy shit, congratulations that's so much weight. I'm 5'3" and my normal weight was 130lbs until the first quarantine in 2020, then I shot up to 175. Ever since, I struggled to get lower than 170. Yesterday, I was 165, so I'm feeling pretty optimistic to keep working at it. Just frustrated with myself mainly.

it's all about restricting caloric intake: eat less/skip meals. you can lose weight perfectly fine without ever doing any exercise. but not having any meal in a day will only work against you.

Intermittent fasting isn’t just for weight loss either, but also maintenance. Look at all your skinny friends who remain skinny and tell me if they eat more than once or twice a day

i'm the skinny friend 5'9/176cm, 132 lbs/61kg who is never hungry. i have to remind myself to eat, else i'd go for hours without. i do try to eat at minimum 3 small meals a day. i'm stuffed after a few bites.

twice a day: i'd either get breakfast or lunch, not both, and dinner because that's a social setting. i do have a midnight ritual where I eat half of my muesli with oat milk before i fall asleep.

Generally one "normal" meal in the evening, coffee in the morning, and I try to fit a snack in between. The meal is generally pretty rich in carbs and I'm trying to cut back on those, but I struggle with it. My snack is usually something like nuts or applesauce, but depends on what we've got in the house.

I mean technically yes maybe? But I like fitting into most clothes and not needing special accommodations for weight stuff.
