Whenever I have a good week, I get my dog a new toy or a nice treat, I'll get my nieces and nephews some toys, and I'll typically bring my gf out somewhere exceptionally nice as well. The dog and the kids feel really rewarding because you give them their stuff, they go nuts in a really authentic and appreciative way, and then you can just go do your own thing feeling like you have done a truly good deed. Feels good. Every time I do it, I feel like Gandalf arriving in the Shire. The gf is a woman, so you know how that is.
