Having hiv and taking prep is disgusting

HIV is a harmless virus that remains dormant throughout your whole life. AIDS is caused by antiretrovirals and you're literally giving yourself AIDS by taking prep. one day you're gonna start having symptoms and blame it on the HIV and start taking more drugs in order to "treat" it, only to make yourself sicker until you die

This, HIV is actually not only harmless but beneficial. Ever since contracting HIV, I have slept more soundly, concentrated better at work, and my third-eye finally opened to let me see and avoid the alien skinwalkers around us that attempt to suck out our unique human soul lifeforce their through nearby presence.

All these anons are ignorant as hell. If you're on prep and her viral load is undetectable, you're 100% fine dude.

Thanks i can tell the troll comments. Im in love with her, her load was almost undetectable and i actually take PEP which is stronger. My PrEP doctor insists im fine and that it wont spread but it still worries me having OCD.

I get it. Like rationally the chances you're gonna get it are less than you getting struck by lightning. But maybe something that would help is imagining what would happen if,. God forbid, you did get HIV. Like you see your gf living her life every day, you know it's not a death sentence and she's probably going to live a long and mostly healthy life. You would test positive, be shocked for a little bit, then move on with your life knowing you have a supportive and loving HIV+ partner to help you through it. It wouldn't be the end of the world at all.

I'm not sure if that will work for you but I do that with all of my anxieties. Like if I'm on an airplane and there's really bad turbulence, I just imagine the plane crashing. I would be scared for a minute or two while I fell from the sky, then it would be over, that's that. Nothing too worry about real it because I would be powerless to avoid it. Somehow visualizing and thinking through the worst case is super calming.

The problem is if our relationship didnt work out then id be stuck with HIV. Im short 5'6 and i feel like the stigma would deter even more women.

I've been on PrEP for over a decade with breaks, my BC is only around 120, but I'm HIV-free. So PrEP is pretty bulletproof.

        >i actually take PEP which is stronger
Okay, either it's a shitty larp or you're a braindead frogposter. PEP isn't actually stronger, it just works a bit differently. It's not meant for long-term use at all, it's like plan b of the anti-HIV meds, which is kinda ironic since HIV is jokingly called boy/gay pregnancy. Anyway, no doctor would agree to this.
