So essentially Catharism/Bogomolism heresy? >YHWH is either the actual 'satan' being cast out of heaven during the 'war in heaven' or the Manichaean demiurge >Garden of Eden / Genesis story is the Serpent/Lucifer [who was occasionally retconned into being good] or Jesus or actual god 'the father' etc giving man heightened qualities of intelligence above that of other animals. >Jesus's whole thing about synagogue of Satan is literal, And dosen't just mean he's claiming that the original course of Judaism has been lost, but that YHWH who is worshipped in the temple is the ACTUAL Satan.
No I don't mean Gnosticism, just that the israelites of the Old Testament were hearing schizophrenic voices, not the voice of God.
I don't think the snake was good.
If YHVH is actually God, then maybe most depictions of God from the Old Testament have merit, but thankfully Jesus set them straight and we no longer have to cut our son's dicks off.
So what's the problem? God could remain unchanging and the Universe couldmexist separate from God which is what is Classical Theism, to my understanding.
I tend to believe that God can remain unchanged and the Universe could exist within the mind of God, which is PanENtheism also called neo-classical theism. To me neo-classical theism best encapsulates God's transcendental "beyond space-time" nature.
Arianism is polytheistic and would have just exacerbated the issues. Asserting two beings you can worship that have separate substances is quite literally just paganism.
Easy. You're israeli.
I have no religion.
What about the argument to be made that God incarnated?
>What about the argument to be made that God incarnated?
Do you believe in God?
I don't know if it exists.
There is an argument to be made that the Father (actual God of the Universe) who incarnated as Jesus Christ was not YHVH of the Old Testament.

Do you think that God could incarnate as a man if he chose to?
I don't know exactly. Because I think God is constant and doesn't change. But maybe.

Considering YHWH is constant, how could it change to Jesus? That's my concern. YHWH was not always a man. But I don't know exactly, it's a hard topic.
I'm the anon who changed from "yes" to "idk".
Arian heresy being the canon instead of the Nicean's would have taken the wind out of Islams sails along with the various Oriental-Orthodox fractures.
Arianism is polytheistic and would have just exacerbated the issues. Asserting two beings you can worship that have separate substances is quite literally just paganism.
The Devil is No. 1
The nature of Man is to coalesce.
The nature of God is to hammer them to bits.
- And in the fragments is drawn a dividing line between what is deemed good and bad.
So - yeah... I would say Jesus most closely resembles that wisdom.
We call him Jesus and we call God, God. Not YHWH.
Why? Isn't YHWH in the OT? (I haven't read it).
what about the argument that religion is made up crap
