I set a camera up in the livingroom to check in on my dog while I'm at work. I started dating a transgirl a year ago, who has since moved in with me. I've never really pointed the camera out to her but I've shown her the camera's view on the app a few times to show her my dog (its pointed right at the couch).

I check the camera intermittently throughout the day, because the dog is pretty old and I like to see that she's still breathing. Since my trans gf moved in though, I've been seeing her on the camera and its a little weird.

She doesn't do anything when she's alone at home. She doesn't read, she doesn't game, she doesn't watch tv as far as I can tell. She just sits on the couch petting the dog and staring at the wall like she's lost in thought. Every day. Every time I check the camera.

This may be nothing but it really weirds me the frick out. What is she thinking about? She seems so normal when we hang out but the way she just sits there doing nothing for hours when she's alone is super creepy. Do I ask her about it?

I'm worried she's going to snap and go insane or something. I'm considering breaking up but thought it might be an overreaction since sitting on the couch thinking isn't the most incriminating thing.

      ur dating a sk*nwalker anon

      That's the feeling.

      is she fricking the dog

Thought this was going to end with her fricking the dog. Got my wiener out for nothing.

No, if I even suspected she'd touch my dog sexually I'd have thrown her and her shit out. I keep wondering if she's going to kill me in my sleep or something now. Its too weird how she flips from being perfectly normal when we're together to how she does this weird dissociation on the couch when shes alone.

Look how all the other trannies are covering up for her and lying for her, OP. "Oh, don't you worry! She and the dog just spend their days thinking of how much they love you!" Tick tock, OP. You can feel it in the air, can't you? Tick tock. Woof woof. Hell awaits.

She might be a lot more clever than you think. She's recorded a small clip of her innocently sitting on the couch, petting the dog, doing nothing at all wrong. And she's hacked your troonycam feed so that anytime you check it, that clip plays in a loop. "I wonder what my dog and my troony are up to? Oh, they're just chilling! All is well!" That was the plan, anyway. But you just couldn't leave well enough alone, could you? You just had to keep watching. You just had to keep checking. Well, no matter. That simmering feeling of "something wrong" in your gut, that instinctive warning system, is too late to stop what your dog and your troony have set in motion. What they've been planning for you. What they've been building, piece by piece, day by day, in the hours of your absence. And one day soon, when you walk in the door, you'll step into the Hell that has been steadily consuming your home just outside the periphery of your vision. You're a smart boy, anon. But not smart enough. And much too late.

if this isnt a set up for a beastiality joke then yeah maybe ask her about it if it concerns you. i do the same thing though its pretty easy to just get lost in your thoughts for hours. she could be thinking about anything everything or maybe nothing at all.

its a skill I developed to deal with the boredom of sitting in a room all day with no entertainment, its honestly surprising to me that a lot of people cant just clear their head a bit and do nothing for a while the ones around me seem to have the need to constantly be doing something. maybe I just have a lot to think about.

There are a few possibilities here anon.

    1) Sometimes people, especially trans and with youths where you feel isolated/different from everyone, develop rich inner worlds. Rich enough to get lost in for hours. Some people call this dissociation, but it’s not quite that. Does your gf have a rich imagination? Or even just a lot to think about?

    2) Actual dissociation is also quite common among trans ppl, because trauma is common among trans people. Being trans practically comes with trauma. Some signs of dissociation copypasta’d from google: Rapid mood swings.
    Trouble remembering personal details.
Forgetfulness about things you've said or done.
Behavior or abilities that change (altered identities)
    Depression, anxiety, or panic attacks.
    Thoughts of suicide or self-harm.
    Substance abuse.
Does she have any of the above?
Dissociatives aren’t usually a danger to anyone but themselves, so don’t worry about her killing you in your sleep like you seem to be worried about if the answer is yes.

    3) She’s vibing. Head empty no thoughts enjoying being in the present moment with your dog. Does she meditate? Smoke weed? Maybe she’s genuinely found peace and is enjoying herself. Was there a period in her past that was hectic? Could be that she hasn’t had an actual chance to stop and chill and enjoy herself, and your house is a place she feels safe enough to fully relax.

You’re not gonna know til you actually talk to her about it, though. Try to be empathetic and not act like she’s a serial killer for spending her time in a way you don’t understand, you nut. Best of luck.

Honestly, I sort of feel her. I dont do anyrhing at all anymore but go to Twitter, Instagram etc for all day without doing actually anything. I dont even play games or read books anymore, and I had a writing fiction hobby but that’s long gone too; I really enjoyed all of this but now I just feel like not doing it anymore.
Mostly, I just lie on the bed or walk around the house day dreaming about a better life or talking with people.
What you can do to help her is encourage her to make new friends and push her to live a normal life

    Hi anon,
your trans gf seems like a very nice and loving person however If she's only been living with you for a couple weeks or months she may feel too shy to play your stuff as she see's it as yours and may feel she can only enjoy it if she's in your presesnse which will definitly loosen up as she lives and interacts with you further 🙂

if its been months upon months then
The other possible darker issue is she may have suffered trauma and when alone from people who make her feel safe, she becomes on edge and then uses the dog for comfort.

it was comforting, like a hug, i never got to own a dog as a kid or anything

your gf seems maybe even a little depressed? i'd check in on her

but there is also something mentally wrong with me so yeah take my words with a grain of salt

It could be past trauma, it could be something else. Most of us are damaged in some capacity. Also petting a dog/cat feels nice and calming. I'm usually an outgoing person, but if my cat climbs on me, I can spend hours doing nothing, but petting her or listening to those sweet sweet purrs.

She sounds depressed tbh. It's how I was when I was unemployed and consumed with hopelessness during the pandemic. Does your gf have a poor employment history or troubles with self esteem? Alternatively (or perhaps additionally) it sounds like inattentive ADHD

I do something similar except in bed because my life is completely empty and pointless and I don't enjoy anything anymore and I don't look forward to anything except for the day when it's over.

This is just what women do. If your girl says she's "rotting" or "lying in bed all day" she is being completely literal. Women don't really have willful autonomy, they shut down and think about how you didn't delete tit pics from 5 years ago, if you just leave them in a room with no tasks. If they don't have to be anywhere, they will not go anywhere until some outside factor like hunger or (you coming home) stimulates them. Your MtF wife is working perfectly fine
