I never said I liked Radiohead dude, you pulled that out of your ass. Also Anime Openings are inherently redditcore.
I thought you had to be at least this combatitive to get replies
If you're the op then yeah fair enough. Probably. I just assumed it was a baitpost because that's more common than actual musical discussion at this point on here.

Redditors are too occupied thinking how will they be perceived if they would admit listening to anime music unironically. You yourself said that normies don't listen to anime osts.

Redditors are literally the people who would listen to anime intros in personal experience. The guys with anime shit at their desks and whatnot. I think you might be confusing Reddit with LULZ tbh. You're probably right about LULZcore or whatever but you also wildly overestimate just how fucking bad the music you're talking about is. I have never heard an anime ost type genre song that was completely solid musically only songs that anime osts used that were already made by an existing band. It's more taste than anything to be skeptical when someone says they're going to put on anime music since it's simply not good. The normies are actually right. You aren't onto something secret that I don't get you just have horrible tastes. Extreme Metal or Modernist Era Classical would "scare the normies" just as well but both of these types of music can actually be enjoyable. Or Horror OSTs let's say actually have pacing and a sense of tonal shift at times, anime osts sorta lack that. They're a very carbon copy dumbed down form of music maybe since the audiance needs to do baby clapping at the pretty colors.

LULZ=fortune and its logo is a 4 leaf clover, its way more of a reference to Irish culture than Japanese culture. Stay mad Redditor

The best part is I never brought up LULZcore,Reddit,or Radiohead nor said I enjoyed any of the above. It's pure projection. The only types of music are Radiohead and Anime OSTs.

Ok,I recognize that you are mentally retarded, just be aware that you are in fact quite reddit and that people will actively avoid you when you play anime music in public.

In what ways is it "simpler"? I really have no idea why you say that. It would be more appropriate to argue its too complex. A piece of music is probably but too busy if it changes its key centre three times in 40 seconds.
Simple and complex are not in themselves value judgements, just descriptions. If anything most people would tell you simpler is usually better.
Can't believe you woke up and immediately went to this, believe whatever you want I guess but it's disjointed and plasticy sounding. I have no intrest in it.

Your insistence on listening to Anime OSTs is pretty redditcore,I'm just breaking down to you what most people hear instinctively.

This is complete gibberish. The problem with anime openings is that they are filled with J-pop genre cliches, not that they aren't "solid musically" or even really that they are "dumbed down", even those cliches themselves are harmonically richer than popular western music.

It lacks a sense of pacing or mood setting. I think that would be a fair assertion. Direction or Focus tend to be majorly lacking in a lot of these songs with parts feeling wildly disjointed.

J-Pop as a whole maybe not but the shit they use in anime is absolutely simpler. If you just mean normie top 40 compared to like Dempa or something sure but I think we both know that's wildly selective.

Basically this if itt:nobody needs to admit to liking anime osts since you would have to watch an insane amount of anime to even begin to enjoy them. They're painful to listen to.
I know right
no
yes
maybe
anime openings are designed to be uplifting
"Substance" by Demi Lovato sounds exactly like an anime opening but better and more soulful than most.
sorry didn't know it was censored
What are “ops” and “eds”?
openings and endings obv & ofc
Huh
Why doesn’t he listen to soundtrack stuff in the middle?
Bgm is bgm for a reason. It does not hold on its own.
opesition edition
he’s not moving
It's a bait post.
>It has to be bait if he doesn't listen to radiohead like every redditor on LULZ
If you think that walking around listening to anime osts is normieonormative you don't go outside.
What are you on about? Where have I stated that? Has redditcore melted your brain?

The cliches themselves are also really soulless and annoying though. I will give you that.
