Don’t wear a parka over a suit stupid. Wear an overcoat/a top coat. Basically just a wool coat that falls at around your knees. For cheap: go vintage ralph lauren/armani. For expensive, get spier and mackay/suitsupply. For really expensive, get Cordings/Ralph Lauren/Loro Piana

holy shit he recs are so bad. Rather than focusing on brands, get some knowledge on the materials, quality you need. RL is dogshit and is just another luxury in name brand, leeching off from the purple lable, which is stll worse than just custom made for the money. I won’t even pay more than $30 for a RL, armani, hugo overcoat used. They are have cheap glued contructions, bottom barrel materials and not built to last, at least fommr the last 20 years.

Aaaand still no recommendations, you gay nerd spastic.
        >focusing on brands
Clothes have brands, stupid. You’re suggesting OP goes to a tailor to make a custom coat when he didn’t even know what a parka is? I have a Ralph Lauren coat from the 70’s with horn buttons, cashmere outer and silk lining. I got it for 150 bucks.
        >cheap glued constructions
You just buy shitty coats I guess. Also, no mention of Spier and Mackay/Suitsupply, which have arguably the best price/value for suits and wool coats bought new. Cordings is impeccable, I meant Purple Lable, Loro Piana has world class cashmere. heck. Off. Spastic. stupid. gay. moron.
Contribute your reccs or shut the heck up.

no shit sherlock, which part of "rather than focusing" don’t you understand.
          >from the 70’s
which is more than 20+ years ago if you can do math
No, the point was to point out the recs were indeed bad, since it just focus on price range and brands, which says nothing about style, quality or material needs.
OP doesnt even know what he wants and assume brands equate to quality, at least not forthe ones mentioned so far.
Loro Piana is a FASHION HOUSE, think of LV bags, overpriced shit you buy for status.
Spier and Mackay/Suitsupply are worse Brooksbrother for the same price. Even then you can find BB often 50-70% discounted used on ebay, which says sth about their demand among the value buyers there.
Hence, OP should calm the f down and do some reseach to see what will work for him and not listening to redditors like you

The brooks brothers comment is all the evidence I need that you’re a low iq stupid and you don’t know what you’re talking about. I regret giving you a serious reply earlier

sure, I’m delighted to think that your reply earlier was serious, so that you can stay ignorant for all i care. And FYI, for a supposed good qualiy brand, their non-custom made shirts don’t even have shanks for the button, just let that sink in.

not mention their jacket sizes are skin-wrinkling tight, skinny, and "comtemporary" whatever that means. So if you wear pants size above 36, your will have to consider their custom-made option.

People like you should just shut the heck up if you have nothing to contribute. But let’s assume brooks brothers is your contribution. Your recommendation is "BB" at 60 percent off on ebay. Let’s just say that not everyone wants to dress like a tasteless pajeet software developer.

There’s nothing wrong with wearing a parka over a suit if you live in a cold climate. Looks better than a topcoat anyway. Just buy one from an actual outdoor brand. My Eskimo pimp coat is from LL Bean and if I’m ever caught in a blizzard I’ll be the last to die of exposure.
