I have a body type similar to hers. How is someone with this body type supposed to dress? I feel like I look manly in just about everything I wear. I never feel feminine enough and very feminine clothing tends to look foolish on me.

i used to get in my head like this abt brown leather. i just couldn’t picture myself in a brown leather belt or shoes until i just went for it and gave them a fair shake. now i think black looks tryhard and generally only add it in to dressier ensembles.

hairstyle could be playing a factor. long hair with that kind of "window" bangs where it hangs on your cheeks and jaw can soften your lines and feminize you a bit.

if you wanna make a feminine look work go for it otherwise go full sarah connor and just live with the masc.exe aesthetic.

Do you mean like face framing? I have curly hair. Would that still look good?

Ok so you have a body type you don’t know how to dress for. You also have a woman with that same body type who wore a shitload of different clothes for a living. Do you think you could use her for inspiration/ideas of how to dress?

Sure but the style of clothing from them and now are very different.

You were born with a penis right?

          No

All stores carry whatever is trending atm. It’s not really easy to go out to stores and find clothing pieces that don’t directly reflect current trends.

we talkin waves or straight afro? really ig it shouldn’t matter too much
here is my perfect queen zendaya cutting off her (fairly) masculine jaw. really i enjoy the slightly "manly" women. i get teased for my taste in girls a lot by my friends.
we still need to see photos to properly judge, however understandable not wanting to do that here

It’s entirely possible for current clothing trends to simply not suit your figure. I can’t stand the slim fit pants style because of how it hugs my legs, for instance. Err on the side of clothes that compliment your physique, rather than what’s in style.

If you have any other people in your immediate family who have a similar figure, you might consider how they dress. Though this might not be helpful.

If you already go to the gym and have an exercise routine that helps accentuate your feminine features, then you might consider just owning the more masculine look, and find other ways to be feminine (there are more ways than just sex and appearance). If you don’t have a workout regimen to help with this, then I’d look into that. If you have a thick skin and don’t mind posting pictures of yourself, then maybe the /fit/ gays can help you.

            Good luck anon

I never said that there was anything wrong with her body. She was and is gorgeous. I just have a very similar body type to hers and I don’t know what to wear or how to dress for my body type. I have generally masculine features. I’m tall, have broad shoulders, strong jaw for a woman and if I attempt to dress feminine it just makes me look and feel more manly in comparison.

        Steal her look?
And then have sex with me. I wear this black hoodie and the grey pants, black shoes. I always look at the ground and walk very slowly mumbling about the it being over

44 year old who had a topless Cindy Crawford poster on his wall as a teen here. What exactly is wrong with her body type to you?

      Sorry for the late responses.

      >doomed to looking sexy, never cute
Should I just embrace it then? I always wondered why trying to be cute and trying to go along with cute aesthetics seemed so awkward on me. Now I know that it’s because I’m the opposite of cute.

My hair is in between 2c and 3a.

      >I enjoy the slightly manly woman
Can I ask why? Like what is the allure?

I don’t want to share my photos on LULZ. Privacy concerns sorry

Thank you for all the suggestions. I’m slowly learning what styles and fits of clothing look good on me and what don’t. I’m trying to wear outfits that flatter my “lines” most. I do exercise as well.

Some girls are meant to be cute, some meant to be sexy, some meant to be pretty. The lucky ones are multiple or all 3. Pick an appeal and go with it, don’t make yourself insecure about not looking feminine enough because there’s just different categories of it.
Oh and go the gym and get a big ass because that would fit well with all 3 and would definitely help a lot confidence wise.

Yeah I understand that. But I feel like my features make me intimidating to men and I often feel less feminine because of it. I don’t want to be intimidating.

google kibbe types you are welcome

      Okay

wear big black boots and tight black pants, zany thrift-store sweaters and plain t-shirts, oversize military surplus jackets and get a hobo bag

I will try to find these in stores.

I don’t know your situation but it could be that your insecurity about looking/feeling feminine is fueling a standoffish demeanor, which definitely will scare off men.

My guess is, if you’re not dressing like you’re a femme fatale in a bond movie, changing your demeanor is going to have a bigger impact than fashion will.

If you’re cursed with RBF, making a conscious effort to correct that will go a long way. In that instance, I’d consider trying to foster pleasant thoughts on a regular basis, possibly even smiling in the mirror.

Do you wear earrings? I feel like that’s something you could do pretty easily to cultivate a more feminine look.

Thank you for your help. I’ll try to do all of these. Including changing my demeanor and my resting b***h face. I wear earrings sometimes but mostly stick to wearing rings and necklaces.

can’t really explain why but girls like debbie harry from blondie really do it for me and she has a pretty masculine jawline. i guess it’s just prominent features really. realizing more and more how much i like different eyes, noses, etc. just anything that makes you unique.
some girls i find too pretty, like so much so that their prettiness becomes plain. need something a little different. my friends seriously always question what i see in the girls i’ve dated.

          […]
and as far as the hair, that its literally the perfect hair i think for doing what i suggested with the face framing. if you wanna cut down your jaw that’s the answer. also start mouth breathing as a more long term solve.

Ohh okay I see. And I’ve taken your suggestion and I’ve been searching for hair inspo for women with my texture w/ face framing for when I get my hair cut next

What body type? Broad shoulders, small breasts, wide hips, tall? I’m not into that look, but most girls I’ve seen similar to this were chubby.
If you’re tall you should definitely lose weight to look more feminine.

Someone above said flamboyant natural. I have broad shoulders. My breasts are 34b. Is that considered small? I don’t have wide hips and I’m 5’10. Im not chubby.
