I don't get the appeal
All rock with hip hop influences is trash for normie fags
this one of the most beloved rock records of the 90s, what are you talking about?
For wiggers in cargo pants, not real rockists
HOLY SEETHE AND COPE
it's fun(ky)
has parliament influenced groove in a post-punk/metal rock world
Let's not lie to ourselves and continue the echo chamber. Nothing on that album sounds like Knee-Deep, Flashlight, or even Atomic Dog -- except maybe Give it Away. RHCP were never funk with John as a guitarist.
it's not 1 to 1, RHCP add their own spin, but the influence is very evident in the vocal melodies from the first song.
Great musicians ruined by front man who sings in the most annoying way possible
Uplift Mofo Party Plan is clearly the superior album.
RHCP are a bunch of closet homosexuals and their music sucks
MUTHAFUKKIN CALIFONIA
i like their laid back songs like soul to squeeze and under the bridge
RHCP are only listenable in instrumentals
yes
This is a 9/10 or 10/10 album. Chads drums never sounded this good again on another record and its a shame
9/10 or 10/10 is wild. I gave it a 7.4, its very enjoyable. But perfect? Fuck no.
for me, it’s One Hot Minute
the 5 singles and the title track are great
the rest is totally creatively bankrupt filler
it's like 70 minutes long but only has 25 minutes of good music
>I could have lied is totally creatively bankrupt filler
I'd add Funky Monks and Sir Psycho to the list of good tracks
>why do people like what I don’t like?
I listen to RHCP when I'm ony my way to a girl's place to fuck. The combination of funk with metallic/punk aggression and the juvenile, overwhelmingly male nature of it all gets me ready to go. Mother's Milk is my favorite but BSSM is good too.
it's just watered down faith no more for plebs that can't handle genre changes
Faith No More sounds so corny and 80s it’s unlistenable
3 or 4 great songs, the rest is absolute garbage
Mother's Milk is factually and indisputably the best RHCP album
