You be the judge. this is probably the most complex one that comes to mind. Had to play at a ridiculously slow tempo and things kind of get rhythmically jumbled at the end.
dude name one aria you can actually fucking hum
the only one I can think of is Liebestod, and the orchestral melody for Elsa's Procession, but that's not vocal
Who says you have to be able to hum a melody for it to be good? Some of my favorite melodies I've had trouble humming. Also I wouldn't even know the arias as I'm only familiar with the preludes and overtures really. Also sounds like a skill issue.
are you motivated to do things because you think you might be good at them, or because you actually want to do them? regardless of talent, your first creative efforts will most likely suck. That's fine, making music is something you get better at, but a lot of people quit after their first tries if they dont enjoy the act of creation in and of itself
they're probably generic and have already been used plenty of times
nothing wrong with that. generic is appealing
No, they are usually pretty odd and chromatic. And most are in mixolydian.
>chromatic.
>mixolydian
pick one.
Wow, I don't evem make music and I know more about it than you!
You're on Mt. Stupid. Mixolydian is diatonic.
Yes, and what happens if you use notes outside of it without modulating?
I'm too high on Mt. Stupid to answer that. 😉
Chromatic just means outside the notes in the key.
Seinfeld theme is mixolydian with chromaticisms.
>theoryshitter
It never began for you

melodies are a dime a dozen but yes, get into making music
>that quote
Literally every good composer believed this.
Imagine thinking Mozart melodies are a dime a dozen.
no it doesn't
there's no fucking "meaning" to any of this shit and being a musician is not a profession or job.
ironic considering he's the fucking worst at melody
Wagner is the worst at melody? What are you smoking?

You must not have listened to much Wagner.

autistic retard can't into reading comprehension. no one said his melodies are a dime a dozen.
whether you have natural ability or not doesn't matter until you actually make something.
I still want to know tho? Could be good motivation.

So you're saying nobody ever got filtered?
Both? Are you saying musicians are everyone who wanted to make music more than anything rather than those who were good at it? Nobody got filtered?
