Most boomers are 95% done with life, and gen X'ers are the most notorious terfs going.

you're confusing silent gen with boomers

silent gen is still alive, my grandfather is silent gen. my grandmother is a boomer, and my mom is a gen Xer, and none of them are TERFs or outwardly transphobic. might be because they value family and blood and wouldn't want to kick me out or push me away, considering many of our family members have died and they want to keep any last remaining close to them.

          that's not surprising tbh
strong family values used to be about sticking with family as a rule, even if you don't like the choices they made or who they've become. That's why being kicked out of families was such a big thing- it showed you've fricked up incredibly hard somehow, probably even worse than committing a murder. Those people tend to pass those values down.

Modern conservatives do not actually want to conserve any traditional values. They don't want the traditional family structure, which is why they push so hard for the nuclear family, and they don't value family nearly as much as one traditionally would, which is why they're happy to kick their kids out.

yeah my family are foreigners too so that might factor into it, i think americans who have been here for longer have a different outlook on family values.

            Very much could yeah
My gf was born in russia, and her senpai is the same way. They'll never push her out, even if they'll never see her as a woman.

Some cultures are distinctly stronger in family values than americans are, and immigrant families are more likely to stick together because they're all together in a foreign country

There's something to be said about the use of 'Karen' for any woman making a complaint about anything, reasonable or unreasonable of her. The Daily Mail are just the last people who should say it.

True, I feel like while there is an archetype to criticize there, it's also used as a means of hedging off valid criticisms and maligning white women by racists.

nah white women abused all their sympathy points long ago.

There should be a new slur for non white Karen's to be used only in extreme cases..

Also no one is calling thse dweebs "witches" they WISH people were calling them witched, like half of the GC branding at this point is about how they're the modern day witches but the actual modern witches are tik tok zoomers who are trans inclusive. I don't think I've ever seen a terf called a witch as an insult, it's a larp in their own heads.

Witch is the one that middle aged karens always call *themselves* because people are pushing back on their moral panic... which is doubly ironic because 400 years ago or whatever they would've been moral panicking over witches.

Meanwhile most of the "witchy" girls who embrace the term and aesthetic beyond some kind of martyr complex are like 20something alt girls who are probably super pro-trans if not some kind of trans themselves.

witchy girls go hard in either way
either they're super pro trans, or they're very much bio essentialist terfs, because they believe in female superiority through magic

At least in the US, the former is way, way more common. I feel like the TERFy 2nd wave feminist wicca types are their own thing with their own aesthetic and subculture too separate from what I'm describing.

what is wrong with being a terf? Trans people are evil and destroying society. Do you think people are just against you for no good reason?

Excuse me, I think you'll find this prejudice is no longer acceptable, as prejudice towards middle aged women is the last acceptable prejudice.
