the reason the machines are always down is because only the managers can clean them out, and they get disgusting really fast (milk+heat from the kitchen gonna get moldy quick). it also takes like 2 hrs to clean them so it just gets ignored a lot of the time. >t. was also mcwagie once
I guess mcdonalds ran a cost/benfit analysis on it? I thought the machine was a money maker that they would want functional at all times. If managers are able to ignore it, it must not be as big as profit maker as I thought.
>Is it really as bas as people say? What is your position?
Where I work I get paid $2 more than minium wage, which is quite good for my age. It is hard work tho and you have to deal with and know quite a lot of shit. I am an regular employee
>Describe your most regular customers
Some black/brown dude who always orders 1 cheeseburger and some guy in a broken down van who always orders 1 meal
>Is it true all Mcdonalds (a lot at least) have like an underground lounge and shit? Also, most expensive order by a customer?
No, the mcdonalds in my citycentrum only has underground storage / toilets and the 2 with a mcdrive dont have a basement at all.
>why are the ice cream machines always down, a fat fuck gotta eat tbh. are you fat? I wouldn't be able to handle myself around everything if I were you
Bcs the instructain manuel we get is shit so we have to wait for someone to come fix it.
No im not bcs i have to bike to work / sport 2 times a week but i do eat a lot of cheesesnack there.
>we have to wait for someone to come fix it
That's actually not true, McDonald's has a restraining order on that guy and you're allowed to fix it yourself.
>Do you get employee discounts?
50% off when i have worked that day on 1 meal / order and 15% off other days. We also sometimes get icecream and eat just out of date mccafe food
>50% off when i have worked that day on 1 meal
that sounds pretty good. i can imagine that when food prices weren't insane people took advantage of this. You ever buy for your family and friends?
why are you still working there, btw? You in school or don't want something better? I'm sure you could swing some of these skills for an office administrator role or something in that realm
>why are you still working there, btw? You in school or don't want something better? I'm sure you could swing some of these skills for an office administrator role or something in that realm
Still in school
Does the quarter-pounder deluxe get a different meat patty than the regular quarter-pounder?
>Does the quarter-pounder deluxe get a different meat patty than the regular quarter-pounder?
Dont know cuz we dont have that here, here we have 4 types of meat: 1. sausage for breakfast 2. hamburger 3. qp 4. mcplant
Whenever I go to McDonald's I always order $10+ worth of stuff. My usual meal is large fries, 6 piece nuggets, a big mac, and a large coke. Do I consume more than your average customer?
>Whenever I go to McDonald's I always order $10+ worth of stuff. My usual meal is large fries, 6 piece nuggets, a big mac, and a large coke. Do I consume more than your average customer?
Nah, most people order a menu here (burger, fries, drink) and an extra small burger (cb or hb) with it so you're below average. Still dont recommend macdonalds more than once a week bcs our shit is unhealthy af

t. milkshake enjoyer, potential mcdonalds customer
Most of the time one is broken lol, we use the same machine to make flurry / other icecream as we do to make milkshakes, but they are two separete dispensers on the machine.
>Damn they selling McPussy cups?I need to go back to McDonald's kek
Sadly enough not anymore :'(

Glhf with work
Do you get good hours?
>Do you get good hours?
I work 10-12 hours a week typically bcs i also have school and sport. In vacations i work ~30 hours so i would say yes.
I don't have a deep fryer and im feeling lazy. I'm out of food at home so I will stock up at aldi's on break. And a 20 piece is 5 bux on the app and pop is free. The 20 piece would be 6 bux with my employee discount
Do you still employ one guy count the contents of the waste bin so that employees can't steal? When I worked at McDonalds in 2015 every McDonalds had one person doing that shitty job. Usually a mentally challenged individual for tax benefits. That was the worst job you could have, because even if you were left alone at peace, you'd have to count shit while smelling the rotten trash food.

What the fuck??? I've never heard of this I am going to ask my former mcwagie friend if this is true

Thank god no, the only 'waste' we count is the food we throw away in the kitchen / drinks
McDonald's is unironically the best fast food burger by far. I wish I could figure out how to make their triple cheeseburger at home. I wish they would go back to frying in tallow instead of the unhealthy shit they use now. What I don't understand is why they chicken nuggets are so bad. I love chicken but McDonald's r&d just can't seem to understand how to make the recipe good. Wendy's is OK if you get the spicy ones but the McDonald's ones don't even seem like real food. They should bring back supersize too. McDonald's has the smallest drinks of any restaurant which is ridiculous.
Do they not have any kind of quality control? The triple cheeseburger according to McDonald's website has mustard and diced onions on it, but more often than not they are not on there which is always disappointing. Feels like I'm getting ripped off. Especially since the price is up to an extortionate $4.49 now. I don't know how to ask for a triple cheeseburger but made normally with everything on it that it's supposed to have without sounding autistic or passive aggressive. Is mustard or diced onion really so expensive that this is where franchises are saving most of their money?

Checked.
But I still don't know how to order a triple cheeseburger meal that actually comes with what McDonald's defines as a triple cheeseburger.

No. All quarters are the same patties that are never frozen

just buy an airfryer, it's super convenient. if you don't have one then i recommend that you just use a conventional oven, it's the same thing
I have an air fryer. What's that have to do with a deep fryer?
you can use it to hear your nuggest as this is what i have done when i got them from the grocery store
Do you get good hours?
Not op but I had a 90 hour check and was told we have to watch my hours. My next check was 86 hours even and I think they rounded up on it
