I am actually rather enjoying Windows 11
The menus and applications are much better organized than Windows 10
My computer has seen no real slowdowns or performance issues either
I have seen some improvements actually
It looks better and more consistent and the themes are much nicer
Settings app has everything except uninstall (still in control panel for some reason)
I think Windows 11 is a step up, and I am sick of the contrarianism saying otherwise

Anon, just install gentoo
I cant get my work to allow me to use Ubuntu, let alone a more exotic distro
In what kind of shithole do you use your PERSONAL computer for work?
Where did I say my personal property?
if the user doesn't control the software, the software controls the user, you are forced to use a digital prison and this is how you cope. you have stockhoe syndrome
The company I work for already controls me in most ways
I can't turn up when I want
I can't wear what I want
I can't say what I want
I am not about to get to choose my OS either
Would you consider yourself a slave?
>ted-kaczynski.jpg
As much as the modern man is, I suppose
But what differnce does that make to my point?
I was a slave to Windows 10, now my work gave me an upgrade to Windows 11
Looks like you've just discovered what it's like to be employed anon
And now with WSL2, you have it at the click of a button in Windows.
Anon, I upgraded to Windows 11 and I gotta say, it's the best decision I've made in a while. The new UI is sleek and modern, and the performance improvements are no joke. Plus, I'm loving the new features like Snap Layouts and Snap Groups. And let's not forget about the new Microsoft Store - it's finally worth using! Sure, there might be some compatibility issues with older software, but overall, I'm happy with my upgrade. Windows 11 gang rise up!
Agreed fellow Anon. Windows 11 truly is an engineering feat. It's ease of use and the sleekness and modernity of its design are impressive. They hit it out of the park with the quality control on this release.
I too embraced this upgraded version of Windows, and I must say I am positively surprised with the performance and graphical user interface enhancements over the previous edition of the operating system. I already feel more productive thanks to the new features that have been introduced.
Windows 11 is great and I'm tired of pretending it's not. I just hate how I can't make the taskbar small
Yo, listen up. I know some of y'all are all about that GNU/Linux life, but let me tell you, Windows 11 is where it's at. For starters, it's just more user-friendly - I don't have to spend hours tinkering with the command line just to get things working. And let's not forget about gaming - Windows has always been the go-to for gamers, and that's not changing with Windows 11. Plus, with the new features like Snap Layouts and Snap Groups, multi-tasking is a breeze. And don't even get me started on the Microsoft Store - it's got all the apps I need in one place. Sorry Linux fans, but Windows 11 is the way to go.
>stockhoe syndrome
The thing I like the most about Windows 11 is the ads.
I have no ads?
sus
I can't tell windows apart in the taskbar because they're grouped and names are omitted. There are no options to add those back.
Thanks, but I'll wait for windows 12.
LTSC is better.

just had it installed a few hours ago, did update and now trying games. So far no difference over 10 aside from UI, things run better...fuck...
any good youtube vids for best setting up, thank you
>things run better...fuck
why "fuck"? does it run better or not?
Yes, I'm surprised it's good. Mind you, I'm using for first time, most everything on. (Home version)
okay. yeah it is good, I dunno what settings you need for better performance on games as mine is for work. It seems smooth out of the box though.
Just need to get used to the different look i guess, time.. kek
sorry mate i'm not going to be entrapped. I'm waiting for windows 18.
embarassing
I'm gonna go back to windows once it stops treating its users as utter retards
It's targeted toward normies, so that's never going to change. Have fun staying on Linux anon
Have you tried setting default programs? It's a fucking nightmare. They made it way harder to do in Win11.
I want to go back to XP so badly bros...
For me, it's Windows 10 LTSC 2021.
>contrarianism
They removed features I use for literally no reason and apparently replaced core system programs with web browser apps.
Ok, How do I run Windows 11 if my computer doesn't have TPM 2.0 and get security updates?
>Bypasses TPM 2.0
>M$ blocks security updates.
Its a shit idea to use the internet with a computer that receives zero security updates.
