I wanted to go to church and the only non-Catholic church I could find was a cringey evangelical one an hour by foot from home. But I said "whatever" and messaged the phone number this church had on its website. I told them I had lots of questions and if there was an email address where I could send them.

I received a quick response from a homosexual who identified himself as "homosexualy Mchomosexual, pastor of the church". He said I could just send him all my questions via text, no problem whatsoever. And he repeated: "no problem at all, ask me anything". So I asked him:

>if the church belongs to any known denomination
>if the church has any important theological positions that distinguish it from other churches
>if they had any code of conduct based on mosaic law (like the ten commandments) or if they just believed two points were essential: Loving God and loving our neighbour (Matthew 22:37-39).
>Paul said to the Galatians that the story of Sara and Agar is "an allegory" (Galatians 4:24). I asked him if they believe Genesis to be a historical account, an allegory, or both
>if the church considers deuterocanical books to be divinely inspired
>if the church has services only on Sunday or if there are services every day

And I got ghosted immediately. I swear to God, you can go and tell a Catholic priest "your shitty God doesn't exist" and he will respond "come here with me and let's have a debate about it, my son", while these double-digit IQ protestantcucks run away the moment they smell a person that asks "too much". I wonder if they even read the Bible or they just memorize random verses they have cherrypicked to make a point in front of grannies and reformed whores.

Anon why don’t you just accept Christianity is bullshit? Even the people who dedicate their lives to this shit can’t answer basic questions in a straightforward manner

You could just not go to church. Or they have online churches now too. But you sound like a schizo.

      The pastor should answer questions

Yeah I agree man and the fact that a pastor can’t answer basic questions should have clued you in that it’s all bullshit

It doesn't mean it's bullshit. It means he's a bad pastor that doesn't do his job.

I know it’s hard anon, but the people who have convinced you Christianity isn’t bullshit were lying to you or tricked themselves. A fucking pastor can’t answer your basic questions, Catholics give you a 2000 year refined bullshitting routine, they’re all liars and dupes. There are much better ways to improve your life.

You need to discover the Romanism in Romans, son.

Take two of these, and visit your local Catholic parish in the morning. You'll feel a lot better soon, I assure you.

        >did you realize that they dont have any backup to their claims?

Oh, they've got plenty of backup. Just spend a little time perusing:

        www.catholic.com

        Or: www.shamelesspopery.com

        > where did they get that confession shit from?
        The Gospel of John.

After His resurrection, Jesus passed on His mission to forgive sins to His ministers, telling them, “As the Father has sent Me, even so I send you. . . . Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained” (John 20:21–23).

The practice of confession is rooted in this. Over the years, the form of the sacrament has changed: https://www.catholic.com/tract/confession

Certain Protestant objections are addressed here: https://www.catholic.com/magazine/online-edition/is-confession-in-scripture

It takes two to tango, but it takes only one to fling shit and wreck a thread. And indeed, that's often the sole intent of the shit-flinger.

    assuming they weren't test questions,
    >Paul said to the Galatians that the story of Sara and Agar is "an allegory"
it's saying it can be read as an allegory. it's historical aswell.
    Genesis is historical too.

deuterocanonicals aren't inspired. they'd be in every text if they were. still, stuff can be learned from them; i personally don't really like having them along with the canon in a Bible, however.

seems like you hit a bad place there. there's bad apples anywhere. keep looking.
