HRT in the ARMY

Hypothetically if i was in the ARMY could i get on
HRT and not have anyone find out?
Not doing a physical job. more of a office/tech job
would drug test pick up on it? or any other type of test
(looking for serious answers)

I don't think there's anything in the regs that specifically prohibit it. If you ever get labs done they might notice your levels aren't normal but I'm p sure they need to look specifically for it like it's not gonna show up in SRP
    >drug test
Nah so a lot of HRT is steroids but I've never known a commander to test for steroids, kind of an unspoken thing

will the army ever require me to get labs/bloodwork done ?

Yeah if you're getting ready to deploy. See da pam 600-8-101 sec 5-8 and if anything is ever wrong with you where they do bloodwork that's another time

could i get them to pay for the HRT without them knowing its for HRT or will they have to know?
        [...]
yeah U.S also i wouldn't try and present or tell people i am trans
I just want to take the hrt and not let anyone know i want to know if it is possible to hide it
        [...]
lol how am i a "colonizer"

They will pay for it but obviously if you use tricare or whatever they will know
Go to behavioral health say you're a GD stricken tranny then go to primary care and get a referral for an endo because there probably is not one in house. Boom bada bing eventually you can get your gender changed in deers

okay if i am in pass basic and AIT and i decide to
get on hrt and decide to let them know would EVERYONE know or just a few people at the top
like would i have to reveal that to every person
        above me?
I just dont want the added stress of people treating me differently thats why i prefer to keep it to myself

You're in ait? Tbh would wait until you're permanent party for this

I don't think so. Guys in army are constantly challenging each other. Image 10x CoD lobby.

      U.S Army?

If so keep in mind there arent rules against being trans in the army right now.
They are likely to take a dim view of you hiding medication you are taking from them tho.

(Also, i never got past meps. So take my answer with a chunk of salt.)

It wouldn't be possible to do it in secret. But they will accommodate you if you're open about it.

every job is a physical job in usmil. do not try to hide HRT if you join up, you will get found out eventually and lieing about it might get you kicked out. it might be completely fine to transition while youre in, idk

Lmao, you'll pass...Training isn't that hard. But everyone is going to know in your unit for sure. Rumors spread like wildfire in the military. If you're a good solider, you won't get shit for it. If you're a shitbag, then yeah.

is right. you'd have to transition completely, be passing, reclass and get assigned to a new station to dodge people that knew you as your agab. pretty difficult because new stations and reclassing arent guaranteed. honestly, id either get over it or not join. even with DADT enforced during my time, we had obvious gay men with us. no one gave a shit because they were great soldiers. obviously, trans is not the same dynamic but if its allowed, i think youll be fine so long as you can soldier well.

They'll find out and get pissed at you for not telling them. The Army will let you transition, you just have to tell them you are trans and they'll give you a tdy to [insert base here I forget the name] to get evaluated.

It's a big deal, you are nondeployable for a full year when you start HRT.
