I love Mishima, but he's obviously a larper. Like another anon mentioned, once you read enough of his books it becomes obvious that his whole "romanticization of youth and action" thing is thinly veiled death anxiety, driven by ego. He's not special. in a way, he's exactly like every other modern man; scared of growing old and tortured by a lack of noble goals
>Mishima >Larper >Formed an organization that stormed a military building when no other option was viable >Calmly accepted death in the face of defeat
Yes very interesting. Please take one gallon of pure corn syrup. Rectally.
>BAM and Sun and Steel
If you take them seriously at minimum you'll start lifting weights and spending more time outside. Philosophically, both offer much more than that but I recommend you just read them. >BoT
I would suggest starting with something other than this if you want to read the Neetch. To call it a specialized academic work is probably to underestimate it, but it's closer to that than something with broad and important philosophical implications. If you're looking for personal transformation from Neetch, read Geneaology and some of his other work and then Zarathustra once you have a good grasp.
Best of luck OP, ignore these retarded Anons, you're on the right track. BAM in particular has deeply improved my life in tangible ways.
>Work by Nietzsche that he hates because it opposes his other works directly with its beliefs, don't read books by him that were written during the time he sucked off Schopenhauer. Read The Gay Science and Human, All Too Human - His actual good works that'll give you something
>Mishima
Literal homo, only loved a strong body because muscles made him horny. Only ones who idolize this retard is closeted alt-right incels who lust over Asians
Mishima has some wonderful books, I have confessions of a mask to my girlfriends gay brother and he said he really loved it.
I’ve never read Nietzsche but BAM was enlightening with respect to the idea of owned space. Caribbean Rhythms is alright too, I don’t know if I like it or if it’s just boring ranting about this world. But his interview with Samuel Finlay was really good
Thanks bro. It’s a very easily achievable aesthetic if you’re starting out skinny. This is actually just 5 months of lifting, starting after I finished reading Revolt. >We’re all gonna make it.

I don’t read as much of the Greeks as is usually encouraged in this site, but Plato’s dialogues are beautiful, enlightening, and edifying. I also like Classical Chinese philosophy and poetics quite a bit. I love norse myth and matter of Britain too, with Gawain and the Green Knight being a personal favorite. Pretty much all of this stuff is great for getting in the mindset for cultivating your body.
Considering this was written in 2011, I feel like his views might have changed a bit on it. He certainly regards masturbation poorly and sees it as a dejection from existing within a space controlled by others, at least now.
BAM is excellent. Haven't read that particular book by Nietzsche but I love his stuff overall. Also haven't read Mishima but he was as gay as BAP so do what you will with that (but from what I understand his books are pretty impactful).
why don't you just read the books and see how your mindset changes instead of asking a bunch of pseudo intellectual homosexuals on LULZ and then never actually reading them
>and maybe just join a HEMA club for the toughening up bit
That's retarded. HEMA is larp for weak neckbeards. It's the worst martial art for toughening people up. Go with something that actually involves real physicality.
It won’t.
Choose only one
Into a bigger homosexual. Very painfully.
Third post best post.
You will act and sound like a LULZ LULZ meme
But you, you will be based.
Homofascist OP buttfucking
anon when?
Nietzsche was a loser his whole life
Mishima is a LARPer who an hero'd
BAP is gnomish subversion
It'll probably make you insufferable
How is Mishima a Larper? Just because no one followed him doesn't mean he was a fraud?
He's just regurgitating something he read on another post somewhere, he hasn't actually read these books.

everyone was a larper. napoleon larped as alexander. alexander larped as achilles.
>Mishima is a LARPer who an hero'd
Read the books you comment on, stop getting summaries from memes
Honestly nevermind
Fuck off Nick. Aren't you supposed to be streaming about your ex-boyfriend?
Who?

It will transform you into a raging homosexual
nice, will read then ;p
Sun and Steel is good if you struggle with excessive introspection.

It constantly rains in England, how can I spend more time outside

You'll literally become gay.

Revolt Against the Modern and Ride the Tiger also btw hide your face out of fear of being shamed
Mire harder. It’s just LULZ etiquette.
So post your face

If you want to see more you’re gonna have to at least buy me dinner first, loser
I kneel

Incel face probably.
Can you post the unedited pic anon (:
I promise I won't touch myself to it it's just really really cool
> I promise I won't touch myself to it
In a Mishima thread? Press x to doubt
In a trannie.

What did he mean by this?
He meant what he said. People who hate porn are people who dont believe others should have the autonomy to make decisions for themselves.
He sounds like a libtard.
Considering this was written in 2011, I feel like his views might have changed a bit on it. He certainly regards masturbation poorly and sees it as a dejection from existing within a space controlled by others, at least now.
>bukkake etc
This is obvious trolling and it's hilarious, I've got to hand it to him
I swear, the misc is LULZs little brother. Why is literally everyone from reviewoftheweek to Eliot Rogers on a goddamn body building forum?
homosexual pedo grifter. Just like every other internet personality that gets shilled here
It will make you gay and racist
Mostly just gay though.
This shit is liquid reddit. Twitter is just a suburb of reddit for even bigger homosexuals.
It will transform you into a raging homosexual
i read sun and steel because pewdiepie recommended it and it turned me into a semen slurping homosexual
Mishima is way too good for all these greasy homosexuals

Aaand I just bought pic related

I got three different Mishima books on my recommended book list based on what I've read. What is quintessential Mishima and why should I read him?
why don't you just read the books and see how your mindset changes instead of asking a bunch of pseudo intellectual homosexuals on LULZ and then never actually reading them

This is Mr BAP retweeting. At this point I'm convinced the Pervert part is completely genuine.
you'll still be the same edgy awkward LULZner but now you'll believe you're superior to your peers for being so
Funny I was already like that before reading them
Perfectly describes everyone on this board, homosexual
And that is why it is the best.
if you read this you will become more insecure and stupid than you already are
you will become an insufferable "esoteric right" fag who talks about anything except gnomish power
You'll probably get syphillis.
I was like you once OP, young and waiting to be shaped like clay but now after reading these texts I have an unending hunger for COCK.
Turn back.
BAP turned out to be a scrawny little garden gnome. So maybe stick with Mishima, and maybe just join a HEMA club for the toughening up bit.
>and maybe just join a HEMA club for the toughening up bit
