Even if science allows us to overcome aging (big if), there are still a gazillion other ways you can die. Most people do not die of old age.

If science beats aging, beating cancer will be simple. So you just have to be cautious of random accidents (which even then, most people would survive if tech is that advanced. Artificial blood everywhere on standby. Repairing brain tissue and bones with some kind of stem cells or nanites.)

Or, you know, all the other diseases that exist. Or murder.

In what scenario is aging cured but not diseases

            Aging is a disease.

Aging is not a disease. Past puberty, aging is just telomeres shortening every time your body regrows it’s cells. Causing them to become more and more unstable each time

There’s already good research on countering this. Presumably you’d start taking the countering medication at the age you’d ideally like to stick at.

In what scenario will the cure for aging magically also get rid of AIDS, pneumonia, ebola, etc.

Sci-Fi bullshit. No one lives forever.

Germs were considered sci fi bullshit once

And nobody is claiming anybody lives forever currently

Germs are an existing part of nature that humans eventually discovered. Brain tissue repair and nanites are magic doodads that Sci-Fi authors use to make their settings look more futuristic.

Nobody dies of old age per se, you die of complications from old age, which in most cases means an old heart that gives out or cancer.

if immortality means you can pray more and do more good deeds, they should encourage it.

Science is the mark. So all religions will worship the Beast antichrist, and only Christianity saves.
The entire world will lash out, attack, and hate christians until there is none left and christians go to the air with Jesus and wait for God's wrath to come against those who took it.
CHristians are not appointed the day of Wrath. That is what being saved means, along with not appointed to burn in hell.
I haven't played Minecraft since like 1.2 or 1.6 or something. I beat it when they put the End Dragon in and there was pretty much nothing but obsidian pillars, ender men, and that was it. The credits had more than just Notch (Markus Perrson), but now there is like 5 million people and the game hasn't even really changed all that much. Kinda weird and suspicious. They also added a story to the credits which wasn't there ever before. Now, the story is literally troony propaganda saying that God IS the Creation and a bunch of hindu, chinese, and buddhism ideas that light is equal with darkness.
Read the Bible, the Bible says the darkness is not equal with the light, and that God gave the Sun and the Moon for the light of the day and the lesser light of the night, with the stars. If you worship God AND Satan, Jesus Christ, AND the Antichrist, then you are anathema, antichrist, exiled and cast out from God and Christ. THey teaching you the opposite, and Notch's name appears like 5 minutes later after the entire country of Poland is cast in the credits. I have no idea what the frick any of these people did. I know a few, like someone who made a song, or maybe someone worked on cats or dogs. But it's proof of insane mental illness in those who diversify the credits to make it seem like all these Chinese, Africans, and Russians created this game.
With not even American or English normal sounding names. Which they then claim means you haven't ascended to the highest plane of God, yet, claiming that one must become highest in Heaven (antichrist). Begone, satanists.

      ?t=119
Why didn't they do a credits more like this with Notch, and his Character from his world, or one adequate for the credits representing him, or Steve in a credits sequence like these classics?
After that, then just have a 6 billion person text block with tiny text scrolls by at the end of all the stuff nobody really wants to see.
