why does being depressed with no friends mean you should change how you dress, like the way you talk about it makes it sound like you see this as your "image".
mental illness is not "based" or "sigma" you hecking stupid.
you aren’t travis bickle or patrick bateman
Become a rude asshole despite being smaller and weaker than everyone else, overcompensate by austere martial arts obsession, live in a hovel of an apartment and exist doing the absolute bare minimum with the expectation to die alone and miserable
That’s the basis of the aesthetics. Form completely follows function because it doesn’t matter, you’re going to die alone and unloved anyway

whatever feels comfortable (in terms of wearing comfort like a track suit and sneakers or in terms what you feel comfortable looking like ) to you even if its not following any social norm or fashion trends
this is what i’ve been doing. I’ve been dressing like a homeless/black guy. Baggy sweatpants, oversized shirts, oversized hoodies. it’s comfy af and scares people.
Stop gaming & anime, stop simping, find a hobby outside your home, find a social club or sports with team, find a job with an actual career, find a girl that actual care for you, eat healthy, use the internet just for shitposting skip everything else.

do not dress
leave the house completely nude
wear only a fanny pack for your cellphone, wallet and cigarretes
also dress shoes and long socks so people know you’re attractive
At this point I try hard as possible to blend in. For tops Ill either wear a hoodie if its cold or a t shirt if its warm. Bottoms is either black/blue jeans or sweatpants/shorts. A plain baseball cap is essential for this look as well. Ever since the pandemic ive added a plain medical style face mask for maximum hiddenness. I only ever leave the house when I have to and no one even sees me in public or bothers me
Because you want to change for the better? Or because you want to larp as an edgy depressed character from a movie to have people look at you and think "wow he is so dark and brooding! what a cool guy!"?
The latter won’t ever happen, so better focus on improving your life buddy.
old man clothes because you’ve given up hope trying to be cool but want to look like an adult still

Stop dressing like you’re depressed.
Dress simple, practical, you should look approachable and not overdress, anything that fits you from Zara, H&M… can work.
