I used to be an educator at an actual school with actual ppl in doing actual work as a human not some shitty gas station robot asking me for a tip. where the fuck was my tip jar? no wonder we all dumb down- all the teachers work @ some gas stations in Oregon or Jersey or wherever now. or we make pepe memes and fucking NFTs for a living...btw how much do you tip when you buy NFTs?
Back in Europe we used to pay ppl extra (that was not a given!) if the service was special, excellent or somehow outstanding! here In the US I feel bad not tipping my gyno but goodie- i made sure to tip the Starbucks person enough out of guilt and pitty to push a button while misspelling my name and giving me the wrong order while pulling a face - whenever off her phone to complain about me probably wanting me order right PLEASE. why the actual fuck am I treated here like a monster when i tip anything less than %20 for basic $h*t? It s not like I ever had my hand in their tip jar ellbow deep in cash trying to find some change for my fair tip right?!
I love this country but it s financially fucked up, it s all on us consumers to keep the wheels of crazy and greed greased.... fuckers! just pay your ppl a fair and livable wage so they don t have to look like effing beggars at their actual day job in order to survive!
