Air horns and run them off the road?

IIRC, they were writing lots of cell phone tickets with those. It’s super easy to see somebody playing on their phone when you’re sitting up high in a truck. They could also have a regular car or motorcycle nearby to actually pull them over. Also trucks with no trailers will move pretty fast when you need them to, especially daycabs. I love driving the single axle daycabs with no trailer, you can drift them in the rain real easily.

Usually they use flashing red and blue lights. Or in Georgia I think they just use blue

Georgia State’s protocol is to flash their blues, charge at the vehicle at twice the speed the suspect is going, make a half-assed PIT maneuver attempt, and then side press the suspect’s vehicle before running out of their vehicle to drag the suspect out of their’s.

At least, that’s what they did with the truck pulling donuts on Northside Drive, in midtown Atlanta.

You can get one of these things used for $40k. That's going to be less than a new pigfat SUV cruiser.

Do you really think they're being considerate with their budget? They're getting new ones and spending another 50k+ to modify it for law enforcement "standards".

Kid, you're really stupid. Can you do us a favor and never post again?
When I read a post like yours, I say to myself "that guy's life is trash."

    >a jet black superclean deadheading semi tractor with NO fleet signage whatsoever not even a DOT number
    totally not suspicious at all
    i would assume it's feds

I don't think anyone not paranoid would look for the DOT number at first glance. Especially if this is used for pulling over 4wheelers but I kinda doubt that. All it takes is someone to brush it off on first inspection as a normal trugg and keep texting or whatever.

semis are pretty peppy without any load. they're just limited by top end gearing. theres vids of dump trucks doing 100mph and the econobox following them is barely keeping up.

Does a truck absolutely need a DOT number? What if I'm a mildly autistic rich guy and I just want to buy my own semi to ride around for fun?

Yeah you can just have to have “NOT FOR HIRE” on it I believe and have it registered to yourself and not a business. Same rules go to pickup trucks

Yeah but you need a cdl still because they are air brakes
Actually it probably exceeds gvwr of ordinary commercial vehicle registration

No CDL needed. You just need an air brake endorsement on a normal license. There is no weight limit if you're using the vehicle for personal or recreational purposes. It's perfectly legal to drive a 50,000lb motorcoach on a non-cdl cereal box license.

they'll do this shit for one whole day and then realize what a shit show it is out there on the road and give up, especially being bobtailed.

They same way they pull you over with their planes. They radio you into to a piggy down the road.

An unmarked police semi-truck? What a great idea! This will definitely help police protect and serve the people. All funded by your tax dollars. Back the blue. Don't defund the police.

There is a vid of cops in a mobile home filming the truckers behind them and you can see them duck to the side to use two hand to get stuff out of the microwave and such.

someone blasts by them, camera gets the tags. officer radios officers up ahead or just sends the driver a ticket.

They aren't meant for making stops
