I’m tired of this meme already
thirfting is dead unless you live in the correct place

You’re wrong, but you’re also not
yes, it’s true that everybody kind of figured out that thrift stores were a cheat code for getting amazing pieces for cheap
but OP is asking for button up/button downs, literally any thrift store will have hundreds, if not thousands of them, and there’s no way he won’t find at least 1-2 that suits his need
        you’re a moron btw

You’re stupid. When it comes to button down shirts they have millions and they always have something good. Sure maybe hard Rock Cafe t-shirts have all been Nabbed by resellers but those people don’t give a heck about dress shirts and button downs.

Every single thrift store in my city (mid size, wealthy) has nothing but Walmart garbage

Good quality doesn’t have to imply branding you troglodyte, the local tailor in some french town of 10k people probably sews together a good shirt of equal quality to some noveau riche brand that demands 5000$ for one piece for like 150$

If you think price tag = quality then i have to redact my opinions of you from this post

Literally nobody mentioned branding at all you imbred pajeet piece of shit.
        >the local tailor in some french town of 10k people probably sews together a good shirt of equal quality to some noveau riche brand that demands 5000$ for one piece for like 150$
Idiotic hyperbole, MTM stuff from a real tailor WILL cost more than most brands, so your braindead point is void.
        >If you think price tag = quality then i have to redact my opinions of you from this post
Again, nobody said there is a DIRECT relationship between price and quality.
Good quality fabrics COST more than bad quality fabrics
Good craftsmanship COSTS more than shitty industrial sweatshop production

So tired of all of /fashion/ being posts about "how can I get something made of 100% cotton/wool/linen/etc. made in the USA of good quality for 50 bucks?"
Quality is not not cheap and Bidenflation and "COVID supply chain issues" have destroyed affordable quality. Now, if you want something good quality you have to pay up for heck off

I have BB, Ralph Lauren, RM Williams and Gucci shirts. Really have no desire to ever buy button downs ever again as I have now got everything I could reasonably need, provided I don’t get super jacked or more likely super fat
