Generally correct, since it could be nuclear armed, being American, you absolutely cannot be sure they're not about to drop a nuke on you.
So you launch all your ICBMs and SRBMs at US cities at once.
      >don't want to get nuked?
      >maybe don't send any bombers (or missiles) into our territory
Good policy for nuclear powers imho.

How do you defeat this, seriously?

Attacking wherever it comes from may be one of the best approaches. If you have long range missiles it shouldn't be too difficult.
Alternatively you can simply avoid giving it any worthwhile targets. It's fucking useless against the likes of Taliban.

that's the exact reason why it's a gigantic waste. the sole reason for its development was dropping nukes on the soviets. the past 3 decades it cost an ungodly amount while giving the u.s. zero benefit except conventional bombing missions that could've been done for a fraction of the costs by other platform.

theres actually studies done that shows its a lot cheaper to use one stealth bomber than conventional 4th gen- this was done during the libya campaign. 1 stealth bomber could destroy an airfield, but for a conventional package you'd need 12-24 tactical aircraft carrying bombs (and fuel tanks), 12-24 escorts including multiple EW aircraft to suppress ground defenses- plus multiple tanker aircraft as opposed to 1. a single B-2 can carry 80 guided weapons:

Carrier waver frequency doesn't really matter if you don't know code/encoding of an equipment. The HackRF also suffers from a very weak transmitter amplifier so you can't even really use it as a jammer.

    LEO SAR
    Quantum radars

But even without the fancy stuff the Soviets figured out how to detect stealth aircrafts and satellites in the 90s: look at the sky with multiple 40+ inch telescopes per site. This automated system has a large star catalog, and can detect when something "blocks its view of a star" (yes this technique works even during the day!) The telescopes are some distance apart, and so they can see time differences between something occulting a star and compute range. The multiple telescopes allow disambiguating problems such as clouds, aircraft, and birds.
If something looks interesting enough, one of the telescopes is switched to laser mode, and a laser flash is used to illuminate the target. Even black objects reflect some light.

the serbs did it with 1950's radar.

old radar can pick up stealth, just use it. part of why stealth works is most air defenses are modern and only some are left scanning the sky. if the newer radar near the border or civilian air traffic radar doesnt pick anything up, the older radar on the older missiles (in serbias case an SA2) never turn on.

If you’re talking about the F-117 that was shot down that’s not accurate. Most of you don’t know how radar works.
The F-117 that was shot down in Serbia
        >flew the same flight path every sortie
        >left the bomb bay door open negating the stealth, creating a great reflective surface to get a radar lock
        Now, let’s talk about radar.
        >low frequency radar is used to find targets. Think of it like a searchlight.
        >the problem with low frequency radar is there’s a lot of background noise, so targets can get lost easy.
        >low frequency radar can not provide a weapons grade lock
        >Stealth aircraft can be tracked by low frequency radar and this isn’t new. This has been common knowledge since the first stealth aircraft have been flying
        >High Frequency radar is used to track a target for a weapons grade lock. Think of it like a laser beam.
        >Stealth is extremely effective in thwarting HF radar. Making it next to impossible to get a weapons grade lock.

The DoD believes in stealth so much they don’t have the low flying requirements for the B-21 that the B-2 had. The B-2 originally had the same single triangle tail that the B-21 has, except they didn’t have faith in stealth technology, so they redesigned the B-2 to have the saw tooth tail, for low altitude map of the earth flying.
        T. Dude trust me, I know.

You're an imbecile. The plane was seen by operators using their eyes, they literally saw it. Then then got it down with an anti-hail rocket used to protect crops. Also, USA wasted millions of dollars shooting missiles at old furnaces buried in the ground, which their plane operators detected as bunkers...

Thanks to today avalible powerfull computing abilities you can use old long wave radars which shit and piss in mouth of any stealth shit and detect it. Because long waves cant give you pinpoint data you use many of them and "triangulate" targte coordination using your newest taiwan made PC.
Than you send it big rocket with 300-500 range with active homing warhead (preferably both radar and IR) and top down atack this low flying piece of shit from altitude of 40km which nuliflies its stealth abilities even for modern X band radars.
And you know what this is how S400 works and thats why USA is so buthurted because they cant suckerpunch rooskies with stealth pos jets and can only use rockets as first strike which would start MAD.
Basicly S400 save us from nuclear ww3

Cellular network based radar basically showing flying holes in the air.

A massive network of cheap ass cameras and AI processing to turn that into a targetable grid. They aren't invisible to light.

Walls of laser scanners giving positions of penetrations into areas. Or 2 or 3 sets to give vectors.

An Saudi style ionic weather modification network which also could be used to picks up ion disturbances giving away positions of planes.

A Chinese made 30000 foot wall of solar drones and or balloons with tethers.

      Easy.
By introducing neo-liberalism into the country. Then they open their borders to 3rd world immigrants, neuter their males, and turn their military into a circus.
At the same time this, somewhat ironically, permits the growth in power of the capitalist class. Greater polarization of wealth and power happens which causes increasing class divisions and discontent. The men most capable of fighting for their question begin to question whether their country is actually worth fighting for.
As a net result the basic infrastructure of the country begins to slowly deteriorate, political corruption increases, and the military becomes a social welfare program.
Given enough time the country is no longer able to sustain the cost in high tech weaponry. In addition not only does the military shrink in size but it also dramatically drops in quality. It takes more bucks to get a bang, exactly at the same time when there are less bucks.
In effect you defeat this destroying the social structure and economy of the country. Soon they will not be able to maintain them properly let alone build enough.
      Wait...
What, you want to defeat this today?
No then, you got to wait a few more decades.

Or this. Just encourage immigration and liberal bullshit.

We hit another F117-A which returned to German air base badly damaged and probably never flew again, there is a 2020 interview from F117-A pilot on YouTube podcast who described the situation when he flew in a sortie alongside the hit plane.

We simply did not have modern AA equipment for that time to deal more damage, what our anti air managed to do is function during whole war and keep the bombers from descending any lower or attack planes and helicopters freely engaging against our troops on field.

Contrary to astroturfed beliefs on niche internet places like /misc/ where Serbs are presented as another flavor of incompetent brown subhumans, US command and media war correspondents in American media did not snub or underestimate our capabilities like they do with non white countries which is why they opted out of ground invasion that would require five digit casualties and likely guerilla warfare.

Wesley Clark wrote in his book that during bombing campaign he constantly feared S300 would be smuggled through Danube. I watched war coverage videos on YouTube from CNN and FOX where journalists openly said to public when F117 was shot down that this isn't Gulf War and that Serbia had highly skilled and educated engineers who'd know what to do with wreckage and how to study it for Russia and China

A lot of garage openers in the United States do not use rolling codes. A master code can open up most garage doors in the United States. Most homeowners do not lock the entry door there either. It's the largest security risk in a home that no one is talking about for some reason.

Real talk: infra red radars a.k.a. IRST for finding it, and missiles datalinked to the search radar

Also optical tracking, very useful now with AI, let the missile have a good look at it then it will track its silouette

Do you know what the maximum range of a Javelin is?
Do you know what the operational bombing altitude of the B2 is?

Do you really think a "new" design that's literally based on 1970-80's tech is the best we've got? That thing is a toy compared to what they keep secret so they can keep it as an option in a Project Blue Beam scenario.

How will pilots ever recover from the fact they are flying a F16 that looks like a carpenter's square.

Wait for the plane that refuels it to land and shoot the pilot. Maybe shoot anyone delivering food or fuel to where the refuling plane landed. Shoot the power transmission lines or substations feeding where it landed.

Networked radar arrays. It's stealth in one direction of measurement only. Further stealth only reduces the signal, it does not make it disappear.

start putting down giant fields of painted metal or whatever of gigantic pictures of ladyboys or something. make it literally the the spooky secret ops jobs to constantly observe and track massive, visible from space pictures of some cute thai ladyboi getting fuckin railed. americas most advanced, crazy expensive hardware that puts every country to shame? their job? every day? photograph that bussy. examine the bussy. report on the bussy. every time those spooks go home and their wife asks them "how was work, honey", they cant tell them. but the wives will know, somehow, deep down....somethings up.

on a more serious note (although i was dead serious), id put some porn site url on top of all my missile silos. trannygranny enemas, or something. and then just wait. you know damn well that every military org staring at your nuke silos are going to be literally obligated to investigate every single frame, every single second of that video, and that site, looking for any military clues. make it some deepfake footage with biden or whoever is president at the time going ham on george washington, or something. throw some coded messages in the frames...that just link to another video of kayne west going ham on hillary clinton.

if the government reveals it to its citizens, that the enemy is hosting deepfake porn with links to other deepfake porn of their own presidents feltching eachother, you just go "yeah. this is what your governments spending your tax dollars on".

    1) find where they live
    2) find who operates them
    3) ???
    4) profit

the whole "the government has fighter jets and stealth bombers!" thing doesn't work because fighter jets can't do point control or defend a compound, and people don't live on launch sites

in this hypothetical scenario the goal would be to prevent its launch or obfuscate your movements such that the launch would not be detrimental - even if launched they rely on a minute to minute chain of command and information relay system that can be disrupted

    not scary; paper tiger

In an actual warfare where they will have to fly in combat zone against modern AA? Probably using some cheap improvisation like seen with all expensive equipment in Ukraine-Russian conflict
In a LARP warfare against goat herders in flip flops that cannot punch back? You can only hope that pilot is a diversity hire
