That level of volume is perfect for that hairstyle though. What are you trying to achieve?

Doesn’t that make it even more volumonus?

try washing with very cold water, it helps reduce frizz and is just generally better for your hair and scalp.

Have you tried it personally? I’ve read it both ways, that hot and cold water are supposed to be better for your hair.

same problem here, I have wavy thick med hair and the only semi-solution I’ve found is to literally not wash your hair as often, like not even co-wash it for 1 or 2 days straight. Maybe use some oils or leave-in at most, but yeah. Your hairs start to stick together more probably because you’re not rinsing off the oils. However they just don’t feel as soft and obviously some dirt will start to build up so it’s not a real solution imo. I’ve also cut my hair into more layers which does help, but ultimately there is still a noticable amount of hair that just refuses to go down and looks pretty frizzy especially when I’m outside.

I honestly don’t know what else to do. I just wanna flatten my hair without making it straight, so iron is not really the way to go plus it damages your hair.

unironically try cooming in your hand and run that through your hair in the shower, the water has to be running over your hair when you mix it in
the proteins and enzymes strengthen and thicken the hair follicles when it dries and stops it from drying out too much which causes the frizzing

why do you pose like a hecking queer despite the fact you have a huge masculine build? give up the cutesy uwu boi act, you’re not small, you’re not cute, you’re hecking stupid for it

I’ve got more curly long hair, but I’ve been having that kind of problem with frizziness.
I just found out today that if you don’t towel dry it and don’t touch it, there isn’t as much frizz. Apparently some people just can’t towel dry it without it poofing out.
If you want it even thinner, use some gels or leave in conditioner. I’m gonna try that tomorrow without drying with a towel.

Don’t blow dry you hair from the bottom up. Do it from the top down, and brush your hair downward whilst doing it.
You might wanna ask your hair dresser to take some of the thickness out of the top of your hair as well, which might be why it’s as big as it is, not sure though.

I quite like how it looks at the moment though, it looks good.
