remember, we are not looking for the truth
when something has ability to do thing, that does not always mean that it does it, but because those things get updates you never know what those add

how many "normal persons" you know that monitor data usage?
the "data usage" in setting does not count, because it is the fricking system, the system is in charge of enforcing the rules so it can broke those all the time without the enforcer noticing

No one ever has any data caps that would be set off. Not one out of millions of people would find that out. And definitely not the security researchers that test this shit all the time! Take your meds, schizo.

who said about everyone having that kind of shit
remember, that could also be used as this manner
            >all phones record and store shit for X days
            >when something happens the company sends out shit that makes the system upload the data from phones that were on certain place on certain time
            >the data is now uploaded from small group of users, there is like 1/1000 chance of someone noticing

You're schizophrenic. Either your numbers are so large people WILL notice. Or your numbers are so small why would they even bother since there's no point.

    >How do you avoid the iBotnet (or any botnet)?
degoogled android, custom privacy oriented rom (graphene, lineage, calyx, etc) and 0 gapps or microg or a linux phone are currently the most private options available.
some phones like the iphone have chips dedicated to the find my network/data mining so you will need to either somehow disable it with root access or hard disconnect it

you fricking smoothbrains are absolutely moronic

Apple already does that on a batman-tier level
    >Your phone uses the bluetooth protocol even if its turned off to listen for other iphone and airtag beacons
    >Your phone is still active and sending beacons even when turned off
    >Your phone uses the integrated GPS and Wifi to obtain your location, even if they are turned off
    >Your phone uses your data plan or wifi to relay beacon data embedded with location to apple servers even if your data is turned off
So apple waste your data, cpu cycles and battery without your consent (well you probably consent on the eula you didn't read) just to have everyone data down to the location.

OHNONONONO APPLE GENIUSES WHAT DO WE DOOOOOOOOOO???!!!!!!?!?

Turning that off doesn't stop apple from using your phone to send other people airtag/iphone location beacons, only yours for peace of mind of their sheep users.
