You can't. It's the logical outcome of people preferring practical utility with easy step-in height.
Crossovers are better than sedans. Get over it.

This. Sedans are dead ICE is Dead. In 15 years you will beg for something with the aggressive styling of the Juke.

        >Sedans are dead ICE is Dead
I think ironically the EV gen will bring back sedans and make SUVs less popular.

Even today most of the EVs sold are just sedans with a raised floor full of batteries. Sedans and hatchbacks have the best form factor for aero efficiency which is essential for EVs and that all important range number.

Women have been convinced that crossovers have more space and are safer than sedans. That alone will guarantee they don't come back.

They do though. At the very least, they offer more practicality than an equivalent sized sedan simply because of the hatchback. I never understood 3 box vehicles. 2 box is just inarguably superior, be it a hatchback, lift back, wagon, suv, whatever.

Reversing while looking straight over your shoulder out of the big aquarium style rear window of a old sedan is an underrated luxury but all cars suck now so it doesn't matter

      >uses more fuel (and ev versions use more electricity)
      >heavier
      >worse for the environment

Only reason why the y are popular is 95% of people are insecure NPC's and car companies prey on them by selling the exact same car jacked up, and sold at a premium.

I was given a 999cc Juke as a courtesy car and it was the worst experience of my life. Abysmal MPG, absolutely no power and barely more space inside than the Micra despite being nearly as big as the Qashqai. It doesn't even get a diesel option anymore
If you want a small car you get the Micra, you want a bigger car with more space you get the Qashqai. Who is the Juke marketed to?

Harley Earl lowered sedans height etc from 1930s/40s into more or less modern sedans of the 1950s. Are modern "CUVs" the continuation of the old 30s/40s? Without soul of course...

People buying new car eventually saturate the used market with hybrid crossovers and there just won't be anything cool used cars available in the future.

Poorgay problems. If you want cool cars buy then new now. This decade will be the last decade you'll be able to buy a V8 Mustang with a manual transmission, a Supra, a Miata, an 86, or even a Z

Quick answer, you can't without government intervention, which I'm not a fan of.

It's a thing of perception. People like these cars because bigger/taller = status, practicality, safety... It's not that all this is always true, but manufacturers are quite happy because they are improving their profit margins. Just lift the compact car you were selling before and make some visual changes. Boom! Normies will be happy to pay a few thousands more.
